Motivation is a key screening tool for Week 17. At the very least, we'll be looking to shy away from players with incentive to rest. I'm looking at you Ben Roethlisberger and Dak Prescott! The crux of this week's QB Picks revolves around two potential shootouts between Green Bay-Detroit and Atlanta-New Orleans ... Below we are taking a look at two cash game quarterbacks, and three GPP quarterbacks for your lineups. Opposing defenses, game theory, prices, and individual quarterback numbers are taken into account.

The Packers and Lions are playing for the division, so there's plenty of incentive to succeed here. The Lions are flailing defensively after getting decimated by the Cowboys last Monday. The heart of Detroit's secondary, Darius Slay, will not play once again. That opens things up for Aaron Rodgers to have a big day. The Packers offense is humming, and I'm expecting the Rodgers-Nelson connection to keep the momentum. Rodgers is the de-facto top play of this slate.
