1. Dez Bryant (Cowboys) – Broken Foot

Cowboys at Eagles (Sunday, 4:25 PM ET)

As a lifelong Cowboys fan, the fourth quarter of last night's comeback win over the Giants was beautiful to watch. From the high of Romo's clutch game winning drive, came the news that All-Pro wide receiver Dez Bryant would be out 4-6 weeks with a broken bone in his foot. Not exactly the best news following a huge division win, but this will open up an opportunity for a number of players to produce over the coming weeks. First on the list is Jason Witten, who should see an uptick in targets, especially in the red zone. He looked great last night, hauling in two fourth quarter touchdowns, and creating separation against supposed faster defenders with ease. As for wide receivers, Terrance Williams might be the equivalent of what Davante Adams was this week for DFS players. He will get to face the Eagles in an up tempo, high scoring game, as the number-one receiver, and he should see plenty of targets as well. On a lesser note, Cole Beasley and Gavin Escobar will be intriguing players to watch going forward, as they should be near minimum salary on all sites, and they'll see plenty of time on the field. The surprise to some last night was Lance Dunbar, who led all running backs with eight catches on eight targets for 70 yards. Keep an eye on him going forward, as neither Joseph Randle nor Darren McFadden look like they will run away with the starting running back position.

2. Derek Carr (Raiders) – Throwing Hand Injury

Ravens at Raiders (Sunday, 4:05 PM ET)

Carr looked decent in the minimal snaps he got yesterday before injuring his throwing hand, and we are still awaiting the MRI results today. He is expected to miss week 2, and there are even reports the Raiders have reached out to Christian Ponder to inquire about his services, which is not a good sign if you are a Raiders supporter. Matt Mcgloin stepped in for Carr yesterday and actually put together a solid outing stats wise (23-for-31, 142 yards, two touchdowns and one interception), but that shouldn't stop you from targeting the Ravens Defense in week 2. The loss of Terrell Suggs is a devastating one for that group, but they still have talent on all three levels, and they just held Peyton Manning and the Broncos offense out of the end zone in week 1. They will likely be the highest owned D/ST of the week, but for good reason, and should be targeted in all formats.

3. Desean Jackson (Redskins) - Hamstring

St Louis at Washington (Sunday, 1:00 PM ET)

It was a very short week 1 for speedster Desean Jackson, as he pulled his hamstring in the first quarter, and he's expected to miss the next 3-4 weeks. The matchup is a tough one for the Redskins in week 2, and quarterback Kirk Cousins will be running for his life against this beastin' Ram defensive line. Jordan Reed will be a popular play in week 2, especially with Jackson out, as he looked great in week 1 with seven catches for 63 yards and a touchdown. What was really encouraging is that he also led the team in targets with 11, and he's clearly developed some rapport with Cousins. Pierre Garcon should also benefit from Jacksons' absence and will be a popular play as well. If you're looking for some deeper value, Andre Roberts will start in place of Jackson, and he should see an increase on his total of four targets.

4. Andre Ellington (Cardinals) – Grade 1 PCL Strain

Cardinals at Bears (Sunday, 1:00 PM ET)

Ellington's injury was especially annoying to fantasy owners because we saw a glimpse of what Bruce Arians had in store for him this year, and he looked great doing it. He averaged 5.8 YPC and scored a touchdown before straining his PCL, and the initial diagnosis is that he will be out 2-3 weeks. Enter fantasy legend/headache Chris Johnson, who will be the lead back in place of Ellington going forward. The matchup is good enough against a weak Bears defense that will be more concerned with the potent Cardinals aerial attack. Look for the Cardinals to throw, throw and throw some more, so Larry Fitzgerald, John Brown, Michael Floyd and Darrell Fells to have the same week 1 success they had against the Saints. Floyd was only targeted once for 18 yards in week one and will probably fly way under the radar this week, but I really like his prospects if his hand injury isn't bothering him.

5. TY Hilton (Colts) – Bruised Knee

NY Jets at Colts (Monday, 8:30 PM ET)

Hilton is day to day after suffering a bruised knee week 1 against the Bills, but he does get the extra day off this week playing on Monday Night Football. The Bills secondary kept him out of the end zone, but Hilton still had a great game with seven reception and a team high 14 targets. If he isn't able to play, Donte Moncrief and Andre Johnson will be very intriguing options against a Jets secondary that just lost Antonio Cromartie to a knee injury. Keep an eye on the reports throughout the week to see if there is any insight on to who Darrelle Revis will matchup against, but I have a feeling it will be Johnson. If that's the case, you'll want to consider Moncrief in all formats. Tight end Dwayne Allen should also see a boost in production, and he is already a favorite target of Andrew Luck in the red zone.

So many injuries in week 1 tough to decide who is going to be the biggest lost for their team. While Bryant is a big blow I am interested to see if the injury to Carr affects the Raiders mentally.

Welp nothing like starting week one with a ton of injuries. Ellington ran the ball so well this week, wondering if the passing attack frees up the same type of stats for Johnson and Johnson.

Seeing who steps up for the Cowboys is going to be interesting. My money is still on Witten/Williams as the prime benefactors. Romo has done plenty with less.

Aside from Dez, the Ellington injury really hurt I had a bunch of him in GPP's - Forgot to mention David Johnson, but after that 55 yard TD he might get some more PT
