Week 1 is finally here, and we already seen some great football. Each week I will be breaking down the optimal lineups for Cash & GPP projections, as well as letting the optimizer choose the optimal stack with a lineup around it. I will be running these lineups late Friday night, or early Saturday morning, so you might get something a little different with our changing projections. You can find various weekly info on the site, but I will offer up a few changes of my personal liking if I see them to these lineups. Lets jump into it!
The Cash Game Lineup this week consisted of three running backs, which I tend to agree with being the optimal choice. The one thing that stood out to me was the fact the optimizer chose Lamar Miller over Carlos Hyde. The workload will be there for both, but game flow will likely favor Miller. I still prefer Hyde here for a few hundred less, but I can see the play for both. Jacksonville's interior is better than last years and will be a good defense if their offense doesn't put them in bad situations. I also noticed DeAndre Hopkins is in the same lineup, and I am not chasing the Houston Texans for a high total. At least not big enough for both to carry enough of a floor or upside. I get the appeal of Hopkins at this price tag this week, but I would either swap him out Kelvin Benjamin, Martavis Bryant, or Michael Crabtree. Everywhere else is rock solid for me. People will be diving down at their third WR spot, so using a Zay Jones isn't the worst option in the world. Robby Anderson and Kendall Wright are the other two people will use, but have just as low of a floor as Jones does. Aaron Rodgers, Zach Ertz, Todd Gurley, Larry Fitzgerald, and David Johnson will all be popular plays this week, and the Steelers defense is one of the top options to use.
