NFL Week 13: Examining DraftKings Cafe Value

Week in and week out we are diving into the best value plays at various positions. Each week always plays out differently, especially when deciding what areas to spend down on, and where to spend up. While many articles point out the top values, we hope to guide you in lineup construction as well. Pricing on DraftKings generally ties into fantasy point outcome, matchups, and ownership a little more than FanDuel does who use production as a heavier weight. Injuries, seasonal changes, and matchups all create value, and here at DFC we break that down for you. Josh McCown is back down below $6,000, which is right where he belongs for me to play him. McCown has been a fairly steady value option this season, and has been talked about by myself quite often. McCown is averaging 0.29 fantasy points per snap this season, and gets a Chiefs defense that is rated 22nd against the pass via our site. Per Football Outsiders, they rank 20th in DVOA and are allowing the 11th most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season. McCown has averaged 20.42 fantasy points per game over the last seven games. McCown continues to produce, and now back at a cheaper price, he is playable in all formats. This game might not jump out at anyone here, so lower ownership plays reside in this game. Robby Anderson's price bump should cause the ownership to remain low.
