Week in and week out we are diving into the best value plays at various positions. Each week always plays out differently, especially when deciding what areas to spend down on, and where to spend up. While many articles point out the top values, we hope to guide you in lineup construction as well. Pricing on DraftKings generally ties into fantasy point outcome, matchups, and ownership a little more than FanDuel does who use production as a heavier weight. Injuries, seasonal changes, and matchups all create value, and here at DFC we break that down for you. Our content is focused on the Main Slates, but you can find me answering questions in the comments, or on Twitter at @JGuilbault11.

This will likely be the last week of using Ty Montgomery as a free square. His price tag was missed as both sites priced up players, which is the usual case after Week 1. Atlanta struggled in their 2017 opener against Tarik Cohen, who caught eight passes for 47 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 66 yards on five carries. Jordan Howard had 52 yards on 13 rushes and a rushing touchdown. Needless to say, Montgomery is these two rolled into one. We saw the workload in Week 1 against a tough Seattle defense, touching the ball 23 times, and logging nearly 100% of Green Bay's snaps. 20+ touches against this Atlanta defense is going to be a steal at these price tags. The problem is, everybody knows it. Montgomery might be one of those plays where we throw ownership and being contrarian out the window because he is too good to pass up. This was someone who showed he can play running back, averaging 5.9 YPC in 2016, and catching 44 balls for 348 yards. Montgomery was an in-between guy last year, but the full move to RB has made him an excellent bargain here early on. This is a top two game to target, and Montgomery might be the highest owned player in Week 2. Cash or GPPs, I want pieces. I also love Marshawn Lynch at $6,000.
