Elite Cash Game Play

Mr. Brady has been a man on a mission this season. In the first two games of the year, Brady has thrown for 377 yards a game and seven total touchdowns. He has scored at least 27 fantasy points in both games. His matchup against the Jaguars is one of the best in the league. They ranked in the bottom third in pass defense last year, and they're starting off the same this year. The Jaguars have given up a rating of 92.9 and 7.1 yards per attempt to quarterbacks this year. Those numbers are just slightly better than the 99.1 and 7.7 they allowed last year. With the weapons Brady has and the chip on his shoulder, I see no circumstance where the Jaguars can slow him down.

I love Big Ben almost every week because he has the most consistent weapons in the NFL. Antonio Brown has 35 straight games with at least 5 catches and 50 yards. Not only does Roethlisberger get the benefit of throwing to Brown who is the most complete wide out in the league but he also gets his shiny running back Le'veon Bell who also just happens to be the most complete running back back from suspension this week. Ben is no slouch himself having already thrown for 720 yards and 4 scores.

Value Cash Game Play

Palmer's price has jumped on FanDuel, but remains a steal on DraftKings. Palmer has been lights out this season with seven touchdowns and 492 yards. He gets the best matchup on the board against the 49ers, who rank dead last in almost every statistical category against the pass. On the year, they are allowing over 10 yards per attempt. With Andre Ellington looking like a no go once again, Palmer will be asked to carry the offense against the Cardinals division rival.

I like Dalton in cash games this week for several reasons. First the Ravens are beat up on the defense side of the ball and just cut one of their corner backs and will be playing a newcomer at that position. They were shredded by the Raiders last week as both Crabtree and Cooper went for over 100 yards and a score. The Bengals skill players lead by A.J. Green are more talented than the Raiders are. The second reason why I like Dalton is because we are still in the month of September. I really do not know the reason but the man just plays better to start the year out. This season he has thrown for 483 yards with 5 scores and most importantly no turnovers.

Elite GPP Plays

Mr. Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks, if not the best quarterback in the league, but he's only a GPP play based on his price. He is the highest priced quarterback on the slate and gets to face a Chiefs team that ranks in the top third against the pass. They have forced three turnovers this year and have eight sacks already. They also do not give up the big play often holding opponents to 6.4 yards per attempt. One thing working in Rodgers favor in this matchup is the Chiefs have allowed the third most touchdowns through the air so far this season.

Luck and the Colts have not looked good at all this season and things might not get better this week against the Titans. For the season, Luck has five interceptions to only two touchdowns. The Titans have been stout against the pass despite giving up two touchdowns a game through the air. They have only allowed a 50% completion rate and 170 yards a game. The quarterbacks they faced were Jameis Winston and Mr. Money Manziel, which we all know are not in the same league as Mr. Luck.

Value GPP Plays

Fitzpatrick is my favorite GPP play this week on all sites. He has looked great in leading the Jets to a 2-0 record to start the season. He has back-to-back games with two touchdowns and has a stud receiver to throw to in Brandon Marshall. Eric Decker may miss the game which would be a slight blow to the passing attack, but the matchup is a tasty one. He gets to face an Eagles team that has struggled in the secondary this year. They have allowed over 8.3 yards per attempt and have given up three touchdowns through the air this season. The Eagles top corner, Bryon Maxwell, has struggled this year. In two games this year, he has allowed 14 catches for 253 yards and two scores according to Pro Football Focus. The Jets have a team total of 25 and I like Fitz to continue his hot start to the season.

Mallett is one of my favorite plays this weekend at his price. He has a strong arm and has looked good so far this year. He has 342 yards and two touchdowns in a start and half this season. He has a big time weapon in DeAndre Hopkins and should also have Arian Foster back this week. His matchup against the Bucs is one of the best in the league. Despite a great outing against what turned out to be an injured Drew Brees, the Bucs still have one of the worst secondary units in the NFL. This season, they have given up over two touchdowns a game through the air and have allowed 8.6 yards per attempt.
