David Johnson

Unlike last week, we get a clear cut number-one this week. Hello, David Johnson. He was the starter for only five weeks this season, but he finished the year with 12 total touchdowns. He rushed for 4.6 YPC on the season, and he managed 20 fantasy points against Green Bay in their prior meeting. Johnson is the only back to see a defense that has allowed over 100 rushing yards per game this season, making him an easy plug-in-play. Johnson is a versatile back who had 17 catches over the final five weeks of the season. The Seattle game was a blowout, and Johnson saw limited time, so really over four weeks he averaged about four receptions per game. Arizona has the highest team total on the slate, making the touchdown king of the desert the top option. Green Bay ranks as the 19th rush defense, per Football Outsiders. Given they have allowed a 4.5 YPC to opposing backs this season, I am going to say top option again.

Ha, these are literally the four running backs I am mixing into my lineups. David Johnson will be on 100% of my rosters, and I'm loving White on DK. The only other backs I'm considering are S-Jax as a touchdown-chase punt on DK and Ronnie Hillman as a volume play if that game turns into a blowout. That said, they rank behind this quartet. Good stuff.
