Welcome to Stacking to Win it. In this article I will give you three options to stack. Remember that winning a GPP isn't always about maximizing points but instead maximizing some form of points and ownership. As always, plays will be listed from favorite to least favorite of the stacks.

When building a stack I prefer to go with a combo of the QB and two other players. In this article I give you all the different options to use for the team with the top three players the players I prefer most in the stack. It's another great week to look to stack with several teams with point totals of 25 or more. The Eagles look like a team you can look to stack every week with their high powered Chip Kelly led offense.

Top Stack 1

Saints vs Buccaneers- Team Total 28.8

My top stack of the week is the Drew Brees led New Orleans Saints. The Saints are a high-powered offense with three running backs who can do it all out of the backfield. They can run for power with Mark Ingram, have a scat back with C.J. Spiller and have Khiry Robinson who is a combo of both. All three are great receivers out of the backfield which gives Brees even more options to go with Brandin Cooks and Brandon Coleman. The Saints were a top-three team in passing yards with 297.8 yards per game and top-15 team in rushing yards with 113.6 last season. The matchup is great in this game against a Buccaneers team that allowed the Titans to do whatever they wanted on offense. They allowed 13.1 yards attempt through the air. With a team total of 28.8 there should be enough offense to go around for all of the Saints in this game.

Top Stack 2

Ravens @ Raiders - Team Total 25.0

The Ravens were terrible on the offensive side of the ball in week 1. They could not get anything going on the ground or protect their franchise quarterback allowing two sacks and nine more quarterback hits. The good news is they get a terrific matchup against the Raiders this week. The Raiders were supposed to be a team on the rise, but that did not show in week 1. They struggled to stop the run and pass. They allowed two touchdowns through both the air and on the ground. After only recording 22 sacks last year, they picked up where they left off and failed to record a sack. They did sign Aldon Smith, who if he can stay out of legal troubles is one of the best pass rushers in the league, but he may not be ready for week 2. The Ravens should be able to protect Joe Flacco and get the ground game going in this game. I am throwing out last week's numbers and fully expect the offense that was in the top third in the league last year to show up in this game.

Value Stack

Cowboys @ Eagles - Team Total 25.5

With the loss of Dez Bryant, the Cowboys passing attack led by Tony Romo makes for great value this week against an Eagles secondary that has not improved at all from last season. Romo had a big game last week throwing for over 350 yards and three scores. The Eagles started off the season with a dud allowing 8.8 yards per attempts and two scores through the air. They also allowed over 100 yards on the ground, even though they kept the Falcons to only three yards per attempt. The Cowboys offensive line is the best in the league and should open bigger holes for Julius Randle. When that happens, I'd expect his yards per attempt to be closer to the four or five yard mark this week. With this projecting to be another shoot out, I love the value the Cowboys receivers and running backs bring you in this game.

Contrarian Stack

Dolphins @ Jaguars - Team Total 23.8

I liked the Dolphins last week, and they did not perform to their abilities which should leave them under owned this week. The Jaguars are one of the best matchups for any offense in the NFL. They lack skill players across the entire defense. Despite a strong week 1 against an out of sync Panthers team that started what is arguably the worst receiving tandem in the history of the NFL, I fully expect the Jaguars team that allowed 370.8 yards a game last year to show up in this one. Look for a big bounce back game from Lamar Miller and Ryan Tannehill.

I'm definitely looking to pair Brees and Coleman in some GPPs this week.

Unreal how cheap the Cowboys are, not that they deserve to be high, but low priced for being in a high scoring affair. Did the Cardinals just miss the cut?

The Cardinals did just miss the cut. This week there were about 6 or 7 teams I could have gone with.

Love the Saints here. I may just end up with Brees in my cash game lineups.
