Correlations are very relevant in NFL DFS, as we like to pair up quarterbacks with their top receiving options. While the running back and defense stack is not as high of an upside stack as using a passing game, it is still viable with the right plays around it, and still brings a small correlation of upside. Game stacks can often be overlooked, but why wouldn't you want exposure to the team trying to keep up or chasing your favorite passing offense? There are ways to be contrarian by still targeting a top offense projected with higher ownership. Shifting from the popular WR1 to a WR2, TE, or even RB is going to help you get exposure at slightly less ownership. WR1, RB1, WR2, and TE1 in that order stand the highest chances of generating the most fantasy points in a stack. This is at least for two man stacks. We will dive into more multiplayer stacks below. Volume, Vegas, opposing defensive stats, pace, and pricing are all calculated into my stacks below. You will find my top, value, contrarian, and game stacks within the article. Baltimore Ravens

Lamar JacksonQB$8,400$7,300
Marquise BrownWR$5,900$5,800
Mark AndrewsTE$6,500$4,900

There is a lot of gripe with the Baltimore Ravens offense right now and it makes sense given they have struggled against better defenses. This is not the case this week as the Titans struggle across the board. Both Mark Andrews and Marquise Brown have over 20% of the targets in this group so the pass offense is pretty straight forward. Brown and Andrews have had a lot of low games this season so I am curious if that recency bias just plummets their ownership. The Titans are allowing the second most fantasy points to wide receivers and this could be a better matchup for Brown to have a breakout game. The Titans have struggled against tight ends this season, as they have allowed double-digit fantasy point games to Noah Fant, Darren Fells, Tyler Eifert, Eric Ebron, and Jimmy Graham. Mark Andrews is still higher in tight end scoring than most but the consistency has not been there. He makes a lot of sense this week, as the price is dipping.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Ben RoethlisbergerQB$8,000$6,700
Diontae JohnsonWR$6,400$5,900
JuJu Smith-SchusterWR$6,500$6,400

Ben Roethlisberger has been tremendous and also this is quite surprising given we didn't know this team would be airing it out most weeks. Pittsburgh faces Jacksonville this week, who have allowed 19 passing touchdowns in nine games this season and the third most fantasy points per game. The price tag on Big Ben isn't too bad, and overall this is an average priced-stack given the wide receiver prices are not that high. The issue with the Steelers is that they have so many weapons as Chase Claypool is also in the mix and can be subsituted for one of these names if you are making multiple lineups. He has big play upside but I rather take the two highest target-shares on the team. Johnson has had on and off health issues but has 65 targets this season. JuJu has 20% of the targets on the year, hauling in 75% of them. Jacksonville is allowing the 9th most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season.

Los Angeles Chargers

PlayerPositionFanDuel PriceDraftKings Price
Justin HerbertQB$8,500$6,800
Kalen BallageRB$5,800$5,600
Keenan AllenWR$8,000$7,400

The Chargers weren't great as a stack last week, although Justin Herbert was still a solid play. They have a near four-touchdown implied total this week in a great spot at home against the Jets. Herbert is now 7th in quarterback scoring this season with 19 touchdowns and also has some mobility with 176 rushing yards and three scores. New York is allowing the 4th most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. Keenan Allen had a quiet day against Miami but has 28% of the targets this season and is already up to 67 receptions and five touchdowns. Now you can opt to go with a full passing game stack and target Mike Williams here as well, but I like Kalen Ballage this week and believe there will be more than enough points on the board to get an RB into the mix and still have upside. Ballage is seeing a heavy workload and that bodes well for a matchup against a bottom-ten run defense. He is also dirt cheap on FanDuel.
