Forecasting Analysis:

Current radar:

We can see thunderstorms threatening all 4 cities several hours in advance of this evening's games.

Let's try to handle this forecast a bit differently this evening. The 4 games at risk are CIN@WSH, KC@PHL, CHC@NYM, LAA@BOS

1st off, the CIN@WSH is a weird start time of 6:05 PM and is not on alot of slate's tonight. Please keep that in mind.

Anyways, here are the 7, 8 and 9 PM simulated radars respectively:

You do not need to be a meteorologist to see the game with the least risk, both on the radar and the 3 simulated radars, is Washington DC. I would expect them to play with little risk.

The risk increases some for BOS. However, notice how late the rain should be in getting there. The city should be dry until 9 PM. They should get the majority of this game in with no problems. PPD risk is rather low.

NYM and PHI have about equal risk in my opinion. The tarps on currently on both fields. Rain will fall at times before the game and this evening. Notice that the rain is FORECAST to hang on just a smidge longer for the NYM game. Both areas will likely see some heavy rain a few times during the afternoon and evening. But both locations should also be dry by 9 PM the latest from the batch of rain expected to impact them this evening. However, some showers could move in after a break, around 10-11 PM. I feel that a delayed start to both games may be the way to go but there is some PPD risk as well.
