Forecasting Analysis

PIT@WSH

Out ahead of this front, a few widely scattered showers and thunderstorms will pop up near the nation's capital. As can be seen below, there really should not be any problems here:

VERY LOW CHANCE OF PPD; LOW CHANCE OF ANY TYPE OF DELAY(S)

NYM@PHI, BOS@NYY

This pair of games has similar weather. Here is what the radar looks like right now:

Not too much to worry about here even though the region is very warm and humid and out ahead of a weak front. At least it deserves to be watched. Models are showing some showers develop near PHI but with the radar as quiet as it is I am not too worried. VERY LOW CHANCE OF PPD; LOW CHANCE OF ANY TYPE OF DELAY(S)

KC@DET

Just a few random showers around.

Short term models show some more impressive rains popping up and possibly causing a delay but I am not buying it right now due to how quiet the radar is.

VERY LOW CHANCE OF PPD; LOW CHANCE OF ANY TYPE OF DELAY(S)

MIL@CIN

Even though the front is closest to this game than any of the games mentioned above, the risk still does not look too high as can be seen below:

Thunderstorms are moving away from CIN and should not be a problem. VERY LOW CHANCE OF PPD; LOW CHANCE OF ANY TYPE OF DELAY(S)

COL@ATL

Very quiet around ATL right now. Take a look:

So we have a normal scattering of thunderstorms in the Southeast. Does not seem like anything that needs to be too worried about but should be watched carefully. These thunderstorms are notorious for popping up just about anywhere. VERY LOW CHANCE OF PPD; LOW CHANCE OF ANY TYPE OF DELAY(S)

MIA@STL

Thunderstorms are already southeast of STL and should not be a problem.
