SF@NYY
A few thunderstorms will be around the Big Apple tonight. Here is what the radar is predicted to look like:
So a few hit or miss thunderstorms. Nothing organized, nothing steady. VERY LOW CHANCE OF PPD; LOW TO MODERATE CHANCE OF SOME TYPE OF DELAY(S)
CLE@BAL, SD @WSH
Much like the game a few hundred miles to the northeast, the mid-Atlantic could also see a few thunderstorms this evening as shown below:
VERY LOW CHANCE OF PPD; LOW TO MODERATE RISK OF SOME SORT OF DELAY
MIN@BOS
A few thunderstorms will also rumble across the Northeast. The radar could look something like this:
So, not overly threatening in terms of a PPD but there could be a delay. VERY LOW CHANCE OF A PPD; LOW TO MAYBE MODERATE CHANCE OF SOME SOT OF DELAY(S)
ARI@CIN
Thunderstorms will not be limited to just the Northeast and mid-Atlantic regions tonight. There will be some in the Ohio Valley as shown below:
They should be pushing south of the Queen City near scheduled 1st pitch but bear watching. LOW THREAT OF PPD; LOW TO MODERATE RISK OF SOME SORT OF DELAY(S)
ATL@COL
A small chance of a thunderstorm impacting the region. There is no "trigger" at the surface so I am not overly concerned. Here is what the radar could look like around scheduled 1st pitch:
So, while I will have to watch the radar carefully, I do not think this game is an overwhelming concern. LOW CHANCE OF PPD OR OF ANY TYPE OF DELAY(S)
