Current radar:

The simulated radar for this evening looks quite a bit different than it did earlier in the day:

It certainly seems like the current radar is not matching up well with the simulated radar. Being just a few hours away, I tend to believe what is actually going on rather than what the forecast is. That being said, I do not throw the simulated radar completely out the window....yet. It seems like BAL may be more at risk than PHI is.

KC@DET, CHW@CLE

Current radar:

A broken line of thunderstorms is heading through DET right now and has its eyes set on CLE. Here is what the simulated radar looks like for 8 PM:

Not very impressive. With the rain moving through DET right now, and lasting only up to around 6 PM the latest, that game looks fine. So we turn our eyes to CLE. And with this model showing these thunderstorms weakening as they approach the region, I am not overly worried. Could there be a delay? Yes, but ore probable than not, they just play through a light rain shower.

MIN@ATL

This game looks like the normal setup in the Southeast during the summer, a normal scattering of popup thunderstorms. If one sits right over the stadium, we hvae a delay. If not, we play with no issues. Either case, a PPD is highly unlikely.
