Three games have weather complications tonight, Philadelphia, New York, and Atlanta. Honestly, a good night to sit out and focus on week one.

If weather does change, the Cubs both on the plate, and Jake Arrieta are the top plays.

An Indians stack burned me last time against Alfredo Simon, but I will definitely head back down that road again tonight.

Cardinals-Reds game could actually be a dud for offense tonight, despite two lefties in Great American Ballpark.

I agree that tonight is a good night to sit out but many people might have the same idea. Do you think there will be major overlay tonight? With Arrieta the top pitcher is Danny Salazar option number 2 with his -193 line.

I don't mind pivoting to Price off Arrieta. Can make a solid lineup with either, but there aren't many OF values. I think a few guys are borderline must-plays in cash: Lindor/Freeman/Polanco. Frazier is close at min salary on FD as well if you're paying up. I like Zach's Salazar call, especially because he struggled last time out against them in Comerica. May see lower ownership.

I am a firm believer Polanco in cash games. I also agree their are few values in the OF but plenty in the IF.Anyone have thoughts on Lamb for GPP?

Thoughts on Pedro Alvarez this evening? He doesn't have too many plate appearances, but a decent wOBA against Wily Peralta.

I'm not a big Lamb fan in GPPs. The strikeout rate is alluring, but with Grichuk back, they actually have a few lefty mashers in the top half of the order now in Piscotty, Peralta and Grichuk, and J-Hey has done well against lefties this year. I think if I were to gamble on a low-owned arm tonight in GPPs it would be Burnett. If he's fully healthy, we've seen what he's capable of this year. Of course, if he's not, he could get knocked around and chased early.

futurepbamember@gmail.com - Peralta really struggles against left-handed bats, so I like him in tournament formats. However, he had a similar matchup last night and was not in the lineup. He might be a rotating player now.

I like Polanco in the OF tonight, and some of the Cards bats are priced nicely.

I'm with Jason here. If he's in the lineup, Pedro is a great upside play.

I think Justin Smoak is a better pivot for cheaper on all sites over Pedro. He does face a better pitcher but gets a better spot in the order and a better hitters stadium. I do not call dongs very often but I am calling one for Smoak tonight if the game does not get rained out.

Yankees game PPD unfortunately. Looks like the perfect night to sit out.

I agree. With the Yanks PPD and two other games with major rain concerns you are looking at an ugly three game slate. Time to take a day off and just enjoy the start of football.
