MLB Slate Breakdown - 9/17

Pretty ugly slate today, but it is Thursday, so what's new. DK wants me to pick two pitchers?

It is hard to like Corey Kluber tonight, due to injury, and the Royals limiting strikeouts. I am also curious in which Yordano Ventrua shows up.

I can't believe I am leaning on John Lackey, but if Ryan Braun is out again, a bad lineup gets even worse.

Houston's offense has been poor of late, but a matchup against Colby Lewis could snap them out of it.

I like taking pieces of the Twins-Angels game as well.

I'm looking at Ventura as my favorite option on the slate. Significant discount from Kluber, and he has been incredible over the past month. I could see a guy like Milone as a GPP swerve, but none of these other guys stand out. I think Lackey is the cash game play if Braun sits out. No way I'm touching Estrada at his FD price, despite being a huge favorite. I'm stacking Cardinals/Twins/Orioles/Rays tonight!

He has looked good, his last two starts he struggled a bit. I think Kluber is entirely too risky at his price. No I agree with Estrada, like him more on DK. Overall not a fan of the slate haha.
