Can anyone tell me why the Fanduelb mlb players list show non starting players and why they show up in optimized lineups.
Also today all the slates have incorrect Fanduel salaries, can't get a reply for DFC!
Is anyone having any success using the Fanduel tools, optimizer etc.?
Confirmed lineups aren't out until later in the day. Most of the time, confirmed lineups are in 2-3 hours before game slate and sometimes can be 1 hour before game time. Until lineups are confirmed, optimizer uses all players projected or confirmed. You don't want to set lineups for MLB earlier than 1-2 hours before slate starts if confirmed lineups aren't out. If you are generating lineups earlier, you have very little chance at meaningful lineups. Once a lineup is confirmed and a player on that team is not on it, the optimizer will automatically exclude the players not confirmed. You can find them in the Exclude tab.

James i have had good success with the optimizer. I use it help plug in players after i have my players that i want in my lineups. Never expect an optimizer to spit out winning lineups you still need to do your own research.
Totally agree with asr01981. It's all about finding your winning process and influencing projections to find an advantage.
