I hope everyone had a great 4th of July and is making the transition back to reality. Yesterday did me pretty well as my main play of the day, Eric Thames, backed me up by going yard twice against Ubaldo and the Orioles pen. Today, I'm going back to the well to one of my favorite plays and am locking J.D. Martinez into all my lineups. I called out J.D. as my play of the day on June 27th when he was facing a young lefty, Matt Straham, at home and J.D. did us right by hitting an absolute bomb off Straham. The situation is almost identical tonight and I'm looking for J.D. to own Ty Blach tonight. Much like Straham, Blach is a young lefty who has a bright future ahead of him. That future will not being tonight, however, as the almost all right handing hitting Tiger lineup feasts on lefties and no one does so more than Mr. J.D. Martinez. Usually I look at pitchers before any offensive position but not tonight. J.D. is in an absolute dream spot and a must play tonight.

And Blach doesn't miss bats, compared to Strahm.
