With a multitude of top pitching options on the hill tonight, there are probably 7 guys who are in play for me towing the rubber this evening. I have been all aboard the Alex Wood train since the beginning of the season and see no reason to back off now in a tasty matchup against San Diego. While I liked it more when his price was in the 8K range, he has more than justified the price bump and remains my top SP on the hill with Degrom coming in a close second. The question remains then, who to pair with Wood and the answer is easily Lance McCullers. McCullers has taken his game to another level this year and excels at home. As Ryan pointed out on his video, the Yankees struck out 12 times against McCullers the last time they faced in Yankee stadium. Now, back at home against a depleted Yankees squad that had to fly to Houston at 3 in the morning, McCullers is in a prime spot and should be priced in the 10K range right below Robbie Ray. The only knock against Lance is that in his last start, his first since coming off the DL, he only threw 76 pitches. While I expect the 'Stros to definitely be cautious with him, I also expect them to extend his leash a little bit tonight and I see no reason why he shouldn't finish with 25+ DK points.

Not sure who Ryan is, but McCullers struck out seven the last time he faced the Yankees. Regardless, he is underpriced and I am on board.
