Analysis:

There is really no surprises here for who the top quarterback of the week is, and it's Drew Brees. If you didn't notice. Facing a hapless Lions defense at home is something for him to feast on. The one thing I saw was there was no pairing partners with Brees in the Cash or GPP projection lineup, instead it used Cooks/Thomas in the stack. Given Thomas is not a value anymore it makes sense. Brees and the Saints are solid plays in all formats.

Fitting in three heavier priced backs with Brees was tough to do, and the sacrifice was made at wide receiver with some backups filling in. David Johnson doesn't need much explaining, other than he dislocated his finger against Atlanta. He should be fine, and is in play again. Johnson has been a touchdown machine, and continues to churn out 100+ all-purpose yard games. Using Melvin Gordon is a decent option this week against Tampa Bay, and Jordan Howard popping up against the 49ers is no surprise either. The GPP lineup called on Latavius Murray, which is an interesting strategy. He should gain low ownership, yet Oakland-Buffalo has a top three game total this week. Murray has multi-touchdown upside, as we have seen a few times this season.

Week 13 is really upon us when we are using value injury replacement wideouts to help pay up at other positions. This is a viable strategy this week, and using Tyreek Hill in all formats is fine, and the optimizer certainly agrees. DGB and Marquess Wilson have ticked up in usage, and are both in plus matchups against weak secondaries. Kenny Britt is probably the only one I am not a fan of out of this grouping. Since it is a GPP lineup, I like taking a shot on Marvin Jones in a high scoring game. If Jordan Reed is out, Vernon Davis is in play, but I rather use Vance McDonald, who is in the stacking lineup. Travis Kelce is the pay up option, and my favorite tight end of Week 13.
