Analysis:

Thing are very early here, and there could be quite a few running backs of value this week, so paying up at all three spots wouldn't be my move. Ezekiel Elliot is the man to pay up for in a plus matchup against Cleveland. Melvin Gordon and Devonta Freeman could be downgraded a bit in price if value opens up, and with the late swap on DraftKings, keep that in mind. With paying up for RB, it shifts wide receiver into a lot of tier three plays. I am not particularly fond of this strategy. Not that the three are bad plays, but when they are your only wideouts, I do question it.

The GPP lineup shifts thing into a boom or bust type lineup adding in Antonio Brown to a lineup started off with Drew Brees and Ezekiel Elliot. All three would have to truly hit their ceilings to make up for the lack of upside of Antonio Gates, Tavon Austin, or Mohammed Sanu. Brown is only in play for me if Big Ben plays this week. There is certainly something there for upside, but the value pieces will surely need to hit.

Drew Brees, Michael Thomas, and Coby Fleener are in the optimal stack this week, so it is centers around the value pieces. A lot of worry with Fleener after last week, because if the Saints try and run the ball, it will be a lot of Josh Hill. So Fleener is a risky play. Brandin Cooks is probably the one I want to pair up the most with Thomas if I am rolling out a Saints stack.
