Welcome to week 3 of the experts challenge, where I put my picks up against Chris "Beermakersfan" Prince.

Last weeks results:

Clean sweep for me last week. Both Prince's and myself's high dollar picks were duds but I was able to edge out as Brees made less mistakes than Luck. Brees finished with 13.1 points, while Luck finished with 11.4. We both had Palmer as our mid-tier and that proved to be a great pick as Palmer threw for four touchdowns and finished with 22.2 points. In the value tier Prince went with Floes who got manhandled by the Redskins defense and finished with 10.1 points. I went with the face of the Bucs Mr. Famous Jameis and it proved to be a great choice as he passed for a score and also ran one in finishing with 18.58 points.

This weeks picks

High Dollar: Prince-Tom Brady $8700/ Me-Brady

As has been the norm in this challenge there is one pick both Chris and myself agree on. This week it is Mr. Brady in full stick it to the NFL mode against the Jaguars. The Jaguars are not a great defense and the Patriots have the highest point total on the board. This will not be a pretty game if you are a Jags fan and I would not be surprised to see Brady score his season average of 27.9 fantasy points in this game.

Mid-Tier: Prince-Cam Newton $7900/ Me- Carson Palmer $8100

I like Newton this week against the Saints but like Palmer better against the 49ers. Both players are going up against leaky defenses but Palmer has more weapons. Newton's value is with his running ability and if he is held to 40 or fewer yards and no touchdowns on the ground he does not have the weapons to make it up through the air. Palmer on the other hand has 4 or 5 legitimate pass catchers to throw the ball to and has been a man on a mission. He already has 7 touchdowns this season and I am fully expecting him to be at 10 by the end of this week.

Value: Prince-Tyrod Taylor $7000/ Me- Ryan Fitzpatrick $6800

I love Tyrod more than most people. I had the luxury of watching him in high school and knew from day one he would be special. What I don't like is his match up this week against the Dolphins. I fully expect this game to be low scoring as both defenses look to make statements after being lit up last week. I also am in love with Fitzmagic this week. I have been talking him up all week and not going to back down from him at all. Brandon Marshall is just too good for Byron Maxwell to cover and Fitz will be able to get him the ball early and often. It also looks like Chris Ivory might sit this one out which will leave Fitzpatrick passing even more.

Results:

Fitzpatrick and the Jets really let me down and Tyrod did TyGod things easily scoring more points that Fitzmagic. In the mid-tier Palmer had a great real life game but the Cardinals defense is so good that they do not need Palmer to throw that much and his fantasy day suffered. On the other hand Newton has to do everything for the Panthers and had one of the games of the week scoring close to 30 fantasy points.

I'm on your side on Palmer/Fitz. Two of my favorite options this week! Good luck man

I love Palmer again this week! That last one is tough. I actually like both Taylor and Fitz this week. Palmer is my highest rostered quarterback at the moment. I understand that appeal of Cam, namely the matchup, but he has rubbish to throw to. That said, I am taking some fliers on Ginn at FD for $5,200.

I think this is the week that they get J Stew on track. Without Brees this should be a game where both teams run the ball. It will probably be a boring game to watch.

I really like Tyrod and have him in 3 of my bouts this week.

Ill post my results later but I can tell you I am doing WAY better with your sites advice then I did on my own.
