Analysis:

Drew Brees has always been a stellar play at home, and then we get a matchup against Seattle. The DvP doesn't necessarily lineup to be the best, but Brees is capable of 300 and three touchdowns. I probably won't bank on him in cash games, but in the GPP lineup it's fine, especially with Michael Thomas being a reliable option with him. Devonta Freeman and David Johnson are the locked in duo this week, although we see a Melvin Gordon play in the stack that annoys me. He is dependent on multi-touchdown games, and is off my radar for Week 8. Johnson keeps racking up 100+ all-purpose yard games, and will find a way to get it done regardless of the matchup.

You can't do much better than the receiving core in these three lineups this week. T.Y. Hilton in the Colts stack is a plus, and then we have Mike Evans in two of the three lineups. Him and Julio Jones are locked in as two top wideouts this week, and come 1-2 in our FanDuel Cheat Sheet. Evans has a really nice price tag, and is playable in all formats against a friendly Oakland secondary. Randall Cobb under $7,000 with his volume of targets is something to key in on this week. He popped up on the injury report, but should be fine this week.

The optimizer is looking for a repeat of Jack Doyle this past week, which is interesting in a tough matchup against the Chiefs. I am not against it totally, but not a must play like it was against Tennessee. He is still cheap, so the risk is minimal. Blair Walsh, Houston/Minnesota defense are all terrific plays, and the Monday game makes me want to just play Minnesota against Jay Cutler.
