Week 6 DraftKings Sleeper GPP Plays.

Quarterbacks:

Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks ($6900) vs Atlanta Falcons

Wilson gets a great matchup this week versus a Falcons defense that likes to give points for fun. Having a week off to heal his ankle/knee will be crucial to his success this week and I think he may start to run the ball a little bit more.

Blake Bortles, Jacksonville Jaguars ($6300) vs Chicago Bears

The Bears defense has been surprisingly better than most people thought it would be to begin the season given their plethora of injuries. However, I see this Jaguars/Bears game being the game with the highest team total once it is all said and done.

Aaron Rodgers, Green Back Packers ($7300) vs Dallas Cowboys

I know you're probably asking yourself, “how is Aaron Rodgers a sleeper?" and he may not be a sleeper when it comes down to it but he is priced as the 5th overall QB on DK and I see a lot of ownership being on Roethlisberger, Brady and QBs from the “Coors Field" game in New Orleans. Rodgers has been good not great this season and with Lacy being hobbled, they may just take to the air all game.

Running Backs:

Todd Gurley, Los Angeles Rams ($6700) vs Detroit Lions

One of these days Gurley is going to have a monster game, right? With 18, 20, 28, 24, 26 touches in his games thus far, he is one long run away from booming. The Lions have been good against the run this year for the most part but I think they are prone to a back like Gurley gashing them for a long run or two. He has had his best game of his career against the Lions last season going for 16-140-2.

Gio Bernard, Cincinnati Bengals ($4600) vs New England Patriots

With Jeremy Hill being held up in practice with a chest injury and the potential for a shootout or blowout, Bernard makes for a great play. It can go one of two ways, Hill is limited or doesn't play giving Bernard 90%-95% of the backfield touches or Hill plays and they get down in a hurry. Enter Bernard. He is averaging 5 catches a game and that is just perfect for DraftKings full PPR. Fire him up.

Arian Foster, Miami Dolphins ($4700) vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Foster is back and you should use him at this depressed price point. At $4700 he doesn't have to do a ton to meet value and going against the Pittsburgh Steelers may make game script go in his favor. Tannehill just isn't very good and he will love to check it down to Foster and let him work his magic. I'm projecting 6-8 targets for Foster and all the goal line work.

Wide Receivers:

Will Fuller, Houston Texans ($5900) vs Indianapolis Colts

Here's my logic. Vontae Davis is shadow DeAndre Hopkins (presumably) and Fuller will get the likes of Patrick Robinson and company to just burn over the top. Sure, he may drop a big time ball and break your heart but the risk is worth the reward. Coming off a bad game against the Vikings may make his exposure lower also.

Jeremy Maclin, Kansas City Chiefs ($6300) vs Oakland Raiders

Maclin is literally the only pass catcher worth anything in KC. Accompany that with Alex Smith being King Checkdown and King Slant, I'm willing to trust Maclin this week. Especially with the possibility of Jamaal Charles being fully back, this will force the Raiders to give him more respect. Maclin can destroy the tall corners of Oakland and if Smith is just decent, I'm expecting him to pepper Maclin with targets.

Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks ($3600) vs Atlanta Falcons

In my tournaments this weekend, I'm pairing Russell Wilson up with Tyler Lockett. Lockett has the ability to have 0 through a half but then explode for a 70 yard TD and/or punt return. He has what you want for GPP and Pete Carrol recently came out saying he was expecting big things from him now that he is healthy.

Tight Ends:

Dennis Pitta, Baltimore Ravens ($4300) vs New York Giants

Pitta is cash game safe but he may get overlooked this week or at least I hope he does. Coming off a nice game last week and with Steve Smith Sr. being out his week will only spell good things for Pitta who is also Joe Flacco's best friend. Sorry if this isn't much of a “sleeper" but if he is the best overall tight end this week, it won't matter.

Charles Clay, Buffalo Bills ($2900) vs San Francisco 49ers

Who is realistically going to catch balls in Buffalo? Robert Woods? Justin Hunter? That's all so gross. Clay has caught 5 balls in each of his last two games and is due for a touchdown soon. Taylor literally has no one else to throw the ball to outside of McCoy so expect him to look at his safety blanket early and often.

Defense:

Houston Texans ($2900) vs Indianapolis Colts

Not sure if anyone will be on this when they see they're facing the Colts but I think that alone is great news. The Colts offensive line is #BAD and the Texans should get at least 4 sacks in this game with ease. Regardless of how many points the Colts actually score, the Texans can pay off with their sacks and turnover points.

Baltimore Ravens ($2600) vs New York Giants

Going to continue picking on bad offenses. McAdoo is an awful coach and cannot seem to use his weapons on offense like he should. Instead he just uses Bobby Rainey..smart. The Ravens have played pretty well on defense this season and Eli Manning is always prone to throw a few free interceptions.

Good luck this week!

@oTAYLORMADE - nice post. However, I can't appreciate you going after my Falcons like that!

Not sure people will be sleeping on Bernard, but like the Clay & Texans call. I think it would be helpful if you listed who the opponent is for each player/team.

Thanks!

I just haven't heard too much about Bernard and he is in a dead zone in his pricing.

I'm sorry about your Falcons. It's just too true from time to time.

great job but I agree with Sam not sure Gio is a sleeper especially with Starks now out and Lacy likely in. Love the Seahawks calls sorry Sam
