Cash Game Projections

Coming off a bye, Carson Palmer and the Cardinals are looking to rebound offensively after a very mediocre start to the season. Against this 49ers defense, this looks like a great way to start. With Palmer and David Johnson in the frame, this should be an all out slaughter. David Johnson is arguably the best running back in the NFL, and based on what we've seen from the 49ers since they lost Navarro Bowman, it seems like 200 total yards is legitimately in his range of outcomes. Melvin Gordon is coming off a 200 total yard game of his own, and at only $34, is once again in a cash game price range. While the price of poker is going up, the volume he's getting keeps him in a spot where you can feel comfortable at that price. LeGarrette Blount is a great value at his price, and should be considered in cash games, as listed. While the Seahawks defense is still very good, it's not what it was a few years ago and can be run on. Blount is in the top five in red-zone rushing attempts and touchdowns, and this should continue with Tom Brady back.

Sammie Coates is a great value in terms of price, but it's really tough to trust him with what Ben Roethlisberger put him out there. While a healthy Steelers lineup is always appealing, especially against a banged up secondary, an unhealthy one isn't one I'm taking chances on in cash games. Michael Thomas and Sterling Shepard are both interesting in terms of their future prospects, but only Thomas stands out as a guy I'm willing to gamble on in a cash game. Shepard showed some signs early in the season, but overall, he can't be trusted to sustain production, even in a 'solid' matchup. Lance Kendricks is an easy value at this price, especially with his performance last week. He's seen a consistent uptick in targets as the season has gone along, and as Case Keenum is the starter and should continue to struggle, it makes sense that the dump off option would thrive. His price is cheap enough to feel good about in all formats. In terms of the Buccanneers defense, they're not my first choice for defense. In face, I'd rather go with the Bears defense if I'm choosing one from that game. The Bears have looked competent of late, and isn't something I want to mess with in a cash game.

GPP Projections

I'm always down for a little Tyrell Williams action, he's a really nice value against the Dolphins secondary. If you are playing him, however, I'm probably moving Carson Palmer over to Philip Rivers. I just can't do the Saint defense, can I? No. NO. NOOO! Ah, I'm thinking about it. Maybe? Eh. Ultimately I can't suggest to anyone to play the Saints defense, but with the way the Broncos defense has looked since C.J. Anderson has gone down, it's not totally out of the question.

Stack

I fully back this crew. Though I think David Johnson is the best play of the week and carrying the other two, it's certainly viable to stack them and hope the Cardinals just run away with it.

Lineup Including StackTools

As I referred to in the lineup above, if you're going to play a Chargers wide receiver, then pair him with Philip Rivers. Rivers has been down in terms of fantasy production this year because of Melvin Gordon, but if you just stack a trio of them and hope the production follows. Along with Tyrell Williams and Antonio Gates, this whole team is in play.
