Cash Game Projections

Andy Dalton and the Bengals offense certainly has a good matchup this week, and with the pricing actually being reasonable for him, he's certainly viable in cash games. While A.J. Green is certainly a big loss, Dalton still should be able to figure things out with Brandon Lafell, Tyler Eifert and Tyler Boyd. Matt Forte is the next running back up against the 49ers run defense. While the Jets have essentially given up on the season as a team, Forte is still in a great position to succeed in terms of fantasy scoring. He's once again extremely cheap, and has been awesome in good match-ups this year. Forte is a nice tournament option with upside, and the only player on the Jets offense that you can realistically use at this stage. Spence Ware is in a position to surprise once again as he's cheaply priced. While Ware put up a reasonable score last week, the two touchdowns aren't something we've seen a lot from him in the most recent weeks. Ware is a solid player, but the Chiefs have stopped using him in the receiving game, and he simply hasn't gotten the same amount of touches as he did early in the season. He's a nice value option still, however.

Kenny Britt is an every week startable player at this stage in the season, and I'm not sure anyone can dispute that. He's caught a touchdown in each of Jared Goff's first two starts, and should be considered a strong option this week against the weak Falcons secondary. Britt should see a heavy amount of targets again, and is certainly viable in all formats. While Tyrell Williams put up a reasonable fantasy score last week, he didn't look all that healthy on the field, and only redeemed fantasy owners with one big play, rather than a plethora. He's a little expensive for my taste for this week. Despite an interesting matchup, there's no way I'm playing any Bears skill position players other than Jordan Howard right now. Cameron Meridith has shown promise so far this year, but overall, he's not someone I'm considering. If Jordan Reed is out, Vernon Davis is a top cash game option in this format, and should be considered across the board in both the tight end and flex position. He's going to see a ton of targets going forward, and should be able to cash in on them with how good the Redskins offense has been this year. David Johnson is David Johnson, and he's having a borderline historical season. There's no need to worry about him hitting value at this stage. We fire away with Johnson until he gives us a reason not to. The Cardinals are a great correlation play with Johnson, and also have more upside than what their last few match-ups would suggest. They're cheap and still have some tremendous talent across their defense.

GPP Projections

Golden Tate is a cash game play moving forward with it becoming increasingly clear that Marvin Jones won't be back to full strength during the stretch run. Tate faces a reasonable Bears secondary that's played well at times this year, but overall, it's not something to worry about from his perspective. Zach Ertz is certainly in play at his price, especially as long as Jordan Matthews is banged up. Ertz is headed towards a similar end-of-season to what he had in 2015, and if that's the case, it's certainly important to get a reasonable amount of exposure in all formats. The Packers defense is something I was willing to entertain last week, but I'm looking in a different direction here. The Seahawks offense has too many good receiving weapons to feel confident in what has been an extremely inconsistent secondary.

Stack

Well, yeah, we've been here before.

Lineup Including StackToolsDFC Stacking Generator:

At home, The Lions are an interesting team to stack, though it is important to note that the Bears secondary isn't horrible. Stafford and co. are viable in tournament settings, this stack specifically. The Steelers are fun to entertain as a tournament team, as their run defense has been stellar of late, and that's really the only thing the Bills can do well. They're certainly viable in tournaments.
