PGA Lineup Advice: Arnold Palmer Invitational

Thoughts on this lineup BJ for GPP's? Looking to go balanced after Adam Scott.

I love that lineup, even with Poulter in it who does have a great track record here, but likes to find the water as well! Zach Johnson will be in at least 50% of my teams this week, that price is too good to pass up - If you did want to pivot from Poulter, Emilliano Grillo has bigger upside for the same price IMO - good luck man!

I am in agreement with Ryans thoughts, lineup looks really good and roster construction is on point. Pieters is a nice call, he's making some waves on the Euro Tour and finished 2nd in Abu Dhabi earlier in the year. That is a very deep event loaded with talent, which is similar to the API this week.

I will also have heavy exposure to Zach Johnson, I think you gotta have him in your lineups any time his price is as attractive as it is this week. Adam Scott was #1 in my rankings, and although its hard to imagine him winning three consecutive starts--its hard to imagine anyone winning three straight starts--the course just sets up perfectly for him.

Poulter would also be the one guy I might pivot off of, as I think you want to have someone with a bit more firepower in their arsenal. It's gonna take some low scores to win this week, as well as finish in the top ten, and I'm not sure Poulter can keep up given the changes made last year at Bay Hill. He finished 21st in 2015, but that is probably the best case scenario for him. Driving Accuracy is less of a concern, and just hitting greens won't be enough, you really have to convert a high percentage of birdie opportunities. Ryan made a good call with Grillo, he has the type of game to keep pace. I'd also throw out Morgan Hoffman who finished 4th last year on the strength of opening rounds of 65-66, before shooting a pair of 71s on the weekend. Hes priced at $7000. He is a little more volatile a pick than Grillo, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing for GPP rosters.
