I am using the NFL Stack Generator and tried experimenting with the "apply models" feature to see if I get different results. What effect does it have on the Stack Generator's results if you check 2 or all 3 of the boxes? Is there a way to quantify the effect of checking and un-checking these boxes/models when I'm comparing the Generator's results?

Apologies in advance if this is a silly question.

As far as the models. I usually select Vegas totals. From my understanding the boxes you select force the generator to weigh that particular option more heavily in its generating. If you select "Yds per game allowed" it will use yards per game allowed as an emphasis on its decision. By default, I am almost positive the generator selects stacks netting the most points projected. I am sure Sam can weigh on this more accurately.

Yes, you can quantify by looking at the change in Projections in the Projections box. The projections dictate the generated stacks/lineups. These projection models will have a greater impact on Colossus as there are a far greater number of players and the models are based on team and position. So, if you apply Fantasy Points Allowed model to TE on Team A and the opponent (Team B) is terrible against TE's, the TE's on Team A will get a boost. If it's a big enough boost, a TE could replace a WR on that team in the stack.
