Recap

What an exciting tournament to watch on Sunday, with the final 5 holes! You had 4 players fighting for the lead for most of the back nine. At the end, X. Schauffele hit his tee shot close to the pin on 18 to capture his first PGA tour title. For DraftKings, I had my biggest payday to date! I managed to tie for 2nd in the $4 gpp (20 entry max) with having 4 guys in the top 10 and 3 of them finishing, 1; 2; and 3. In my player pool, I had 15 golfers and only 2 missed the cut. Let's keep the ball rolling for this week!

This Week

We are headed to Silvis, Illinois for the John Deere Classic. The course is called TPC Deere Run and it's a par 71, 7,268 yards long. This is almost a very similar field than last week, where all the big names are resting for the major next week or they're playing in the Scottish Open. For the stats this week, it's virtually the same as last week. I will be looking at B.O.B. %; SG: Approach The Green; and SG: Around The Green.

Core

Kyle Stanley ($9,600) – Stanley should be one of the more popular picks this week and there is no reason to fade him this week. He has made his last 4 cuts including a win at The Quicken Loans. He has also made his last 3 cuts here. For stats, he's in the top 5 in the field for the 3 stats that I'm looking at this week. He's 3rd in the field for B.O.B. % (23rd); he's 1st in the field for SG: Approach The Green (3rd); and he's 60th in the field for SG: Around The Green (103).

Jamie Lovemark ($9,300) – Lovemark seems to have found his form recently, especially with a good showing last week. He has made his last 4 cuts including 2 top 10 finishes and he's made his 3 cuts here. For stats, he's 6th in the field for what I'm looking for. He's 13th in the field for B.O.B. % (46th); he's 28th in the field for SG: Approach The Green (65th); he's 12th in field for SG: Around The Green (32nd).

Kevin Na ($8,000) – So, I believe that Na will be the “chalk" play for this week. For stats, he's number 1 in the field. He's 9th in the field for B.O.B. % (42nd); he's 2nd in the field for SG: Approach The Green (10th); and he's 6th in the field for SG: Around The Green (20th). With making his last 3 cuts in the last 5 weeks and finishing a tied for 8th in 2016 and a tied for 13th in 2014, there should be no reason to fade him, despite his popularity. He's going to be my pick to win for this week.

Seamus Power ($6,600) – Power has been my “secret weapon" the last few weeks because he's been under 5% owned. He helped me to get to 2nd place last week and I'm going back to him for this week. He's 18th in the field for stats. He's 45th in the field for B.O.B. % (98th); he's 43rd in the field for SG: Approach The Green (83rd); and he's 14th in the field for SG: Around The Green (35th). With making his last 2 cuts and having no course history here, he should be low owned again and could help you win a gpp this week.

Exposure

For exposure, I recommend going 40-60% for your core. If you like to play the multi entry gpps, I will use the 4 players above and pick around 15-20 golfers to complete my player pool. For 3 entry max gpps, I will rotate the 4 golfers around while choosing no more than 8 golfers total. That way if your core hits, then you will have a really good chance of having a nice payday!! Which, at the end of the day, that is what we're all trying to achieve!

Good luck everyone!!
