Coming up soon is the DraftKings Hockey World Championship. There will be a qualifier contest run most days where you have a chance to qualify before April 30th. Like the other World Championships this year it will be a massive tournament, and unfortunately in an online/virtual format. DraftKings will also be providing a play along at-home contest where you can see your scores next to the leaderboard. Winning this contest also qualifies you to be a part of the DraftKings Championship Series.

Over the next few weeks, DraftKings users will have the chance to join those already qualified for the NHL World Championship. There will be contests running all through April, and users can earn up to three spots in the tournament. Go onto the DraftKings main mage to check out who has already made the tournament and see when upcoming qualifiers are. You can also sort in the lobby under contests settings.

Qualifying tournaments are a winner take all style where the top user in that given contest will qualify for the tournament. Every qualifier will be guaranteed some cash prizes, as you can see below. If you are to go on and win this tournament, way bigger contests will be on the horizon.

Like all of the DraftKings, World Championships are set up, every spot will be paid out. The bottom 15 users will still take home a hefty $4,000-4,500. When getting into the top-ten you start to hit those major numbers. One of the bigger changes in the fact the top spot earns you a ticket to the Tournament of Champions. There are huge prizes up for grabs and potentially a trip away depending on how they handle the in-person event.
