Goalies

Looking at Vegas tonight, Devan Dubnyk is in line for one of the better fantasy point games of any goalie tonight. For one, he has a heavy money line backing him, and Philadelphia is projected to score the second lowest goal amount on the slate. Dubnyk has been phenomenal at home, going 11-5, with a 2.02 GAA. With Philly averaging 2.16 goals per game this season, Dubnyk is a lock tonight, without breaking the bank. If you want to go cheaper, Martin Jones gets an average scoring Detroit team at home tonight. This helps if you are paying up for all of those Dallas Stars.

Top Skaters

Dallas is the highest projected scoring team of the night, and the only team with a 3.5 goal total, but more on them in a minute. Calgary is just a shade below them tonight in projected goals scored. 2.98. Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn just attract to the casual player, while the top Flames' line is in an equally good of spot. They will still have decent ownership, but it shouldn't be the same amount as the Stars. Calgary has one line to do damage, and this is the line, headlined by Johnny Gaudreau. He has eight points in the last ten games, and does his damage at home. He has 29 points in 20 home games, compared to just 11 in 19 away games. Arizona has allowed 3.17 goals per game, and are a team I pick on all the time.

Dallas is home to Winnipeg tonight, and you are definitely going to want some exposure. Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn, and Jason Spezza are all in play as well, alongside this man. Patrick Sharp has 13 points in the last 10 games, and five points on the power play. Sharp notched one helper in the first matchup, and I am looking for more out of him tonight. Sharp has 21 points at home this season, and 12 of them coming on the power play. The Jets have the 4th worst PK% in the league, and have allowed the 7th most goals per game. Get yourself some Stars tonight.

Aleksander Barkov is enjoying his time next to Jagr on the top line. He has 12 points in the last 10 games, and 25 points on the season. Ottawa has been up-and-down this season, but have allowed 2.90 goals per game, and have the 3rd worst PK% in the league. Barkov doesn't have severe home/away splits like some of the other players, maybe because he gets more of a rush playing outside of Florida. Go figure. He has a 2.55 points/60, second behind Jagr on the team. He is a sneaky mid-range priced center with upside. Especially tonight against Ottawa.

With Calgary projected to be one of the top scoring teams tonight, I will grab their offensive defenseman in tournaments. He has 11 points in the last 10 games, and I have talked about Arizona struggling to keep the puck out of the net. Giordano ranks in the top 20 in points for a defenseman, and he is likely going to be lower owned tonight with so many high priced forwards on the table.

Value Plays

Martin Hanzal (C - ARI) FD: $5,000 DK: $4,100

The whole first two lines of Arizona are value here, but I will be talking about Martin Hanzal. He is more of your assist-man, with 15 in 26 games this season. Arizona can put the puck in the net, averaging the 7th most goals per game. (2.82) Guys like Max Domi, Mikel Boedker, and Anthony Duclair are in play tonight.

Andrew Ladd (W - WPG) FD: $7,000 DK: $5,100

This is more of a play on DraftKings, where $5,100 is a nice steal for Andrew Ladd. He is on the second line, but the first power play unit. This game features four potent offensive lines, and if you wanted to make a big swerve, to the Jets' side would be a big one. Ladd has five points in the last ten games, and Dallas ranks in the middle of the league in goals allowed per game.

Jared Spurgeon (D - MIN) FD: $3,500 DK: $4,600

Jared Spurgeon isn't going to light the world on fire, but he is here for some salary relief, with small upside. He is a solid +/- play on FD tonight, where Philly isn't expected to score much. He has seen time on the second PP unit, and has been alongside Ryan Suter. He blocks shots, ranking 15th among defenseman.
