Goalies

Braden Holtby (G), Capitals

Braden Holtby on the road in Tampa should keep his ownership fairly low, but Tampa is scoring the 5th fewest goals per game. Holtby is among the top goalies in quality start percentage, and is tied for first in GAA. He leads the NHL goalie wins, continuing to be one of the safer options in DFS. He is a -113 favorite to grab the win tonight, and Tampa are less than likely to get over 2.5 goals. He saved 32 of 34 shots in a win earlier against Tampa this season.

Top Skaters

New York is scoring the 6th most goals per game this season, facing off against one of the worst defensive teams in the league. Calgary has allowed the most goals per game. They have a 70% PP killing unit, ranking last in the league, while New York has the 6th highest PP%. Derick Brassard has eight points in the last ten games, and 22 on the season. The Rangers top line continues to produce, yet they always float under the radar.

James Neal (W), Predators

James Neal has five points in the last ten games, and Nashville's offense continues to be frustrating, despite tons of talent. They 15th in goals per game, which is decent, but not great. Neal is priced fairly cheap still, who carries multi-point upside. Colorado is allowing the 7th most goals per game. Nashville's power play is where I am eying tonight, 7th highest conversion right.

Justin Faulk (D), Hurricanes

Ten points in the last ten games for Justin Faulk, and five in the last three to be exact. Justin Faulk gets a great matchup to keep this going, with Arizona allowing the second most goals per game. Faulk has 23 points this season, ranking in the top 5 for defenseman. Faulk has been under-owned of late, maybe because it is the fact he plays for Carolina. Get this guy into your lineups.

Kyle Okposo (W), Islanders

The New York Islanders are one of the more DFS friendly offenses. They score the 9th most goals per game in the NHL, while Columbus has allowed the 6th most goals per game. They are truly a dreadful defensive team, and Vegas has the Islanders heavily favored to score three or more goals. Kyle Okposo has six points in the last ten games. I am looking at the mid-priced players to carry the big upside tonight.

Value Plays

Anthony Duclair (W - ARI) FD: $4,700 DK: $3,900

This first line winger is priced fairly cheap against a bad defensive team. Arizona is always a sneaky GPP team, and with Carolina allowing three goals per game, they all come at excellent value. Arizona has scored the 12th most goals per game.

Jake Muzzin (D - LAK) FD: $5,200 DK: $4,300

I am not in love with a lot of value defenseman tonight, but Jake Muzzin stands out as a decent option. He has seven points is the last ten games. +/- wise he is a safe bet for FanDuel, especially against Buffalo. Muzzin is on pace for a new career high in points.

Alex Galchenyuk (C - MON) FD: $4,800 DK: $4,800

Whenever we can grab Montreal Canadiens for cheap, take advantage of it. Alex Galchenyuk is a second line player on even strength, and the power play. Ottawa has allowed 2.90 goals per game. He has nine points in the last ten games, and 20 on the season.

Craig Smith (W - NSH) FD: $5,300 DK: $4,500

Craig Smith has a 10.79 shots per 90 with Nashville, and has been bumped up to the second line. Great matchup for Nashville tonight, with the first two lines, but can they come through. If you are looking for a cheap winger, Smith is a great option.
