I doubt many will take a goalie against the top offense in hockey, but I will in tournaments. Jake Allen has been one of the top goalies this season, and is on a great streak. He has a 1.98 GAA in the last ten games, winning six of them. He had a 26 save shutout against Dallas earlier this season, and has posted a few double-digit fantasy point games over the last month. St. Louis has allowed 2.33 goals per game this season, ranking 6th in the league. They have one of the better defenses in the NHL, and it starts with Allen. Dallas' offense will contribute to Allen's upside tonight. If you are looking for a cheap option, I like Jonas Gustavsson for Boston.

Top Skaters

Boston is always a tricky team to figure out where the points are going to come from, but points are a plenty. They are scoring the third most goals per game, and have the highest PP% in the league. (28.9%) Buffalo has the 6th worst power play killing percentage in the league, and are allowing the 16th most goals per game this season. Patrice Bergeron is averaging nearly a point a game this season, and has nine in the last ten games.

Zach Parise (W), Wild

Minnesota has a top ten offense in the NHL, and it starts with this man. Zach Parise has a 180 iCorsi, and averages 3.6 on goal per game. Parise ranks 41st in points/60, and has ten points in the last ten games. Pittsburgh have been fairly average defensively, as their struggles have been more on the offensive side. Minnesota are decent favorites to score over 2.5 goals tonight. Pittsburgh allows the third most shots per game on goal. Parise is a bit expensive, and the buzz around the Wild are never very high.

Roman Josi (D), Predators

Roman Josi ranks 6th in points among defenseman, with 26. 14 of them have come on the powerplay. He has 11 points in the last ten games, absolutely dominating on the powerplay with eight points. Detroit rank 19th in goals allowed per game, and have an average penalty killing percentage. Josi had two assists in their first matchup, and he has that kind of multi-point upside tonight. If you are paying up for a defenseman, Josi is the guy.

Daniel Sedin (W), Canucks

Daniel Sedin has been very consistent, with 36 points in 36 games. He has eight in the last ten games, and this matchup will likely keep him going. Edmonton has allowed the 5th most goals per game, and allow the 4th most shots per game. Vancouver is not a great offense, and Sedin is one of the few I trust. Sedin ranks 8th in points/60, and ranks second behind Tyler Seguin in iCorsi. I like his price tremendously on DK tonight.

Value Plays

Marcus Johansson (C/W - WAS) FD: $5,400 DK: $4,000

Marcus Johansson plays on the second line, and the first powerplay unit. Washington has scored the second most goals per game this season, and with Montreal's recent play, Washington are favorable targets tonight. Johansson is the value play from the bunch, with 19 points on the season.

Ryan Ellis (D - NSH) FD: $5,200 DK: $4,000

Ryan Ellis is a cheaper defenseman from Nashville, who is a similar player to Josi. He has a nearly identical shots per 60 this season, and sees time on the second powerplay unit. Ellis has 14 points on the season, which is not bad at all for a third line defenseman.

Vladislav Namestnikov (W/C - TB) FD: $5,200 DK: $3,400

Tampa continues to rotate around, trying to get their offense going. This has created numerous value opportunities for players, and tonight is no different. Vladislav Namestnikov is playing on the first line, with Kucherov and Stamkos. He has five points in the last ten games, and Columbus has allowed the third most goals per game.

Matt Belesky (W - BOS) FD: $6,000 DK: $4,000

Matt Belesky is always a sneaky low owned play, and is in good spots to grab points. He has 15 on the season, playing on their first line now. He also sees time on the powe rplay. I doubt anyone will be on him, but I like taking shots on one of the best offenses in the league.
