Stacking is the best way to take down a GPP in NHL DFS. You are looking at three stacks below, that consist of top and contrarian stacks. Stacking doesn't always feature just wingers or centers, especially with the offensive defenseman in the game these days. When stacking we tend to focus on the top two lines for teams, as well as who is on the powerplay.
Los Angeles Kings
Name | Position | FanDuel Salary | DraftKings Salary | Estimated Ownership |
Tanner Pearson | W | $5,300 | $5,500 | 8-12% |
Jeff Carter | C | $7,900 | $7,300 | 8-12% |
Drew Doughty | D | $5,800 | $5,600 | 5-10% |
Tanner Pearson is coming off of a big game, scoring a goal with two helpers. He had been rather quiet leading up. Jeff Carter has been phenomenal this season, sitting with 29 goals, and nine of them coming on the powerplay. I will head back to the well here with L.A., who take on a hapless Arizona defense. Phoenix allows the fourth most goals per game (3.15), and have the fifth most penalty kill. Over the last month nothing has changed, allowing the fifth most fantasy points per game. Mike Smith is expected in net, and has allowed seven goals versus the Kings. L.A. is projected for 3.1 goals, and this line is certainly reasonably priced with upside.
