The Detroit Red Wings will be going up against the Jets tonight, which provides them with a great matchup. The Jets have struggled on the defensive side of the puck all season long. Their goalies have a save percentage of .900% (28th in NHL) and have allowed an average of 3.0 goals per game (26th in NHL). The Jets have also struggled on special teams. They have allowed a total of 53 power-play goals (28th in NHL) and have a penalty kill percentage of .782% (25th in NHL). With all of these stats in the Red Wings favor, I will be stacking Zetterberg, Datsyuk and Abdelkader, who all play in the first line and are in the first power-play unit. These guys are very affordable and allow you to pay up for a guy you really like tonight.

The Canadians will be going up against the Sabers, which is an interesting matchup to say the least. These teams have already met three times this season, and in those meetings, the Canadians have combined for a total of 13 goals. Andrighetto, Pacioretty and Subban combined for a total of 10 points in those meetings. The Sabers are in the middle of the pack when it comes to their defensive stats, but with this game having one of the highest totals on the night, I expect the Canadians to do some damage.

The Panthers will be going up against the Senators tonight, which provides them with an excellent matchup. The Senators have allowed a total of 55 power-play goals, which ranks highest in the NHL. They have also allowed an average of 3.0 goals per game (27th in NHL). Jagr, Barkov and Joiken each had a point in their last game. Look for them to carry that momentum into tonight, especially against the Senators defense, that is one of the worst in the league.

The Sabers are not favored to win tonight's contest, but I still see them putting up a ton of points on the board against the Canadiens. The Canadiens have allowed an average of 2.8 goals per game (20th in NHL). In three meetings against the Canadians this season, the Sabers have scored a total of 12 goals, so look for Kane, Reinhart and Eichel to fill the stat sheet. They have combined for a total of 14 points in their last four games. Watch out for the Sabers!

Big fan of the Detroit line tonight. Florida might be more contrarian than you think.
