Now the running back situation was heavily in DeMarco Murray's favor, playing 75% of the snaps. Derrick Henry will still have a role, at 31%, but overall he wasn't on the field a ton.

Tennessee Titans Snap Count Breakdown
Looking at the receiving core, Tennessee did not have a receiver player over 75% of the snaps. That is something that could change in 2016, but also would not surprise me if it didn't. Dorial Green-Beckham had 56% of the snaps, which came second to Harry Douglas (69%). Both Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter played 36 and 39 percent of the snaps last season, failing to make a real impact within the core. At the moment Rishard Matthews and Tajae Sharpe are being talked about to be starters, so expect a major position battle for regular season snaps. Given Tennessee's management, don't trust that the best players make their way in front. Marcus Mariota's favorite target, Delanie Walker, was on the field for 66% of the team snaps. Expect Walker to be another heavily used tight end for Mariota, and keep a similar pace in snaps.
DeMarco Murray did not work out well in Chip Kelly's system last season, as Darren Sproles and Ryan Matthews had more of an impact. In 2016, Murray will spend time in Tennessee, and is being prepped for the workhorse role again. Tennessee lacked a true starting running back in 2015, as Antonio Andrews had 40.8% of the carries, and Dexter McCluster sat at 29.5%. Yes, those are gross names and numbers. Murray shall be around the 60% mark, while rookie, Derrick Henry takes on the rest. Tennessee has been impressed by Henry's receiving, so you might see him a bit more on passing downs. Henry would have had a possibility for a big workload if Murray didn't arrive, but 65-35 is about right for what the workload should be. Of course if Murray went down, Henry would eat up the work. Now we are talking specifically snaps, but given Tennessee might be down a lot, the hot hand in the passing game might be the higher value.
