It is Sunday, hopefully everyone has had an awesome and winning weekend! We have an awesome 6 game slate, with 4 teams on their second night of back to backs. The Atlanta Hawks are one of those teams, and just like every other slate, we will stack against them. On 6 game slates I like to keep a tight player pool and that will start by fading the Memphis Grizzles vs Orlando Magic game. Both of these teams are bottom 5 in terms of pace, and because of the lower pace this game has a 207.5 point over/under which is easily the lowest on the slate.

The New Orleans Pelicans are traveling to Atlanta to play the Hawks. This game has a massive 238 over/under with a 2 point spread. This is my favorite game on the slate and I will have plenty of exposure to it. The problem is that this game will have a lot of ownership due to the high game total. We will have to differentiate our lineups but I wouldn't advise anyone to completely fade this game. New Orleans point guard Frank Jackson is my favorite point per dollar play on the Pelicans. He started and played 36 minutes for the injured Jrue Holiday last game. Jackson has a solid floor as he is in line to see 35 minutes. On FanDuel, Jackson's price is $4,800. FanDuel didn't raise his price enough now that he is starting and we should take advantage of this. We are projecting him to score 16.48, in this matchup of top five teams in terms of pace. I can see him score 30+ and be one of the top values on the slate. He can be a solid low owned pivot option to differentiate your tournament lineups.

Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young is another great play in the same game. As I said above we want as much exposure to this game as possible. Yesterday I wrote up John Collins because I knew his ownership would be a fraction of Young's. Collins put up his first 20-10 game of his career so it was a good pivot. Young put up 52.5 fantasy points on Saturday, but his performance will get overshadowed by John Collins' performance. Collins will be one of the higher owned players on Sunday's slate, so we need to pivot like we did yesterday, but this time to Trae Young. He's been on fire since the calendar turned to 2019, and he kept up his awesome recent form by recording his first career triple-double on Saturday. He will not be low owned by any means, but due to his lower ownership compared to Collins, he may end up being a better value. The Pelicans rank 28th vs the point guard position, and with Young's 28.47 usage rate in this fast pace matchup, he could end up as one of the top plays on the slate!

The Minnesota Timberwolves are another team on the second night of a back to back. They are visiting the New York Knicks and their game has the second highest over/under at 225.5 with a 7.5 point spread. We usually do not want to target games with this wide of a point spread but the Timberwolves are dealing with a few injures that could keep this game closer than the spread implies. They were without Andrew Wiggins on Saturday and they also had Karl Anthony-Towns exit the game with a knee injury, who is out for Sunday's game. Depending on the injury news we get, this game could have some of the best value plays on the slate. People will try to roster Taj Gibson or Dario Saric who will get an uptick in minutes due to Towns' injury. But I will be rostering point guard Derrick Rose because he will now have more of the scoring load put on his shoulders. He has an awesome matchup against the Knicks who rank bottom third vs the point guard position. We are currently projecting him to play 18 minutes, but Wiggins still hasn't been confirmed in the starting lineup and if he is ruled out, Rose will get the start and play about 30 minutes. If he does that, he could end up scoring 40 fantasy points which would crush value at his salary of $5,000 on FanDuel.

I saved the best for last. We are going back to the game of the night, New Orleans Pelicans vs the Atlanta Hawks. My favorite play in this game is point guard Elfrid Payton. As I said above, this game will get plenty of ownership but Payton will be a lock in virtually all of my lineups. Last game with Holiday out, Payton scored 30 fantasy points in a tough matchup against the Toronto Raptors. This time Payton has an awesome matchup, as the Hawks rank 29th vs the point guard position, and he also will see an increase in his 17.03 percent usage rate because of the Jrue Holiday injury. We are projecting him to 5x his $6,700 salary as we have him projected to score 35.09 fantasy points. We want plenty of exposure to Payton because he will be the main facilitator in a game with a 238 point over/under, on at team with a 118 team total.

I will be stacking the Atlanta Hawks vs New Orleans Pelicans game in different ways. Everyone is in play, as I believe the winning lineups will have a stack of this game. I will have no exposure to the Memphis Grizzles vs Orlando Magic game and I will have limited exposure to the Golden State Warrior vs Phoenix Suns game, due to the blowout risk that game has with a 16 point spread. I have given you mid to low range players so you can fit a stud in your lineups like Houston Rocket's shooting guard James Harden. He is a great play but be careful because that game has blowout risk potential. In the comment section let me know who your favorite stud play is tonight. Let's win big…together!
