Tuesday slates are notorious for being small because Monday slates are usually large ones. Yesterday, the 18th, had 9 games, but this Tuesday state has a solid 6 games. We only have two teams on back to backs, those teams being the Golden State Warriors and Indiana Pacers. In terms of pace, we have 7 of the top 10 teams playing on Tuesday. The winning lineups in large field GPP tournaments may be the lineups who game stacked the highest scoring, most tightly contested game. I will have exposure to many games and will be game stacking in most of my lineups.

We all should know the procedure now when first breaking down a slate. “Are the Atlanta Hawks on the slate?" They are, so I will be stacking against them! My favorite play on the slate is no other than Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden. He has the best possible matchup against the Atlanta Hawks who rank 30th vs the shooting guard position. The Rockets will be visiting the Atlanta Hawks in a game with a massive 231.5 point total and 7.5 point spread. In a game with this fast of a pace and an over/under this high, Harden would normally be 45 percent owned, but people will not want to pay $12,300 for Harden in a game with this much blowout risk. His price will make him be lower owned and that is why he is my favorite tournament play. Harden realistically has a 90 point upside in this matchup. I will not lock him into all of my tournament lineups because of the blowout risk, but I will have more ownership to Harden than the field.

The Milwaukee Bucks will hosting the Los Angeles Lakers in a game with the highest over/under at 236.5 points and a 13 point spread. I am surprised we have these numbers because some of the injury news we are waiting on. This game has 2 of the top 6 teams in terms of pace. So we want exposure to this game. As we know, more possession equals more points! The Bucks are dealing with a few injures as small forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is questionable with an ankle injury and Malcolm Brogdon is out for 6 to 8 weeks with a minor plantar fascia tear. These injuries make Bucks point guard Eric Bledsoe one of my favorite plays on the slate. Antetokounmpo has a massive 33.02 percent usage rate and Eric Bledsoe will absorb most of that, as he will become the focal point of the offense. He also has an awesome matchup as the Lakers rank 23rd vs the point guard position. Bledsoe has been consistent all year long but he has been even better since he got his contract extension at the beginning March. He's scored 28 or more fantasy points in 8 of his last 9 games. We are projecting Bledsoe to play 29 minutes and score 32.33 fantasy points. He is an awesome cash game option because of his high floor, but if Antetokoumpo were to be ruled out, Bledsoe has upside to score us 50+ and be a key contributor to your tournament winning lineup.

It is rare that we get the Philadelphia 76ers injury report early, but that is not the case today. We already know their center Joel Embiid will be held out due to rest. A solid contrarian play would be power forward Tobias Harris but I will be going to one of my favorite players in the league. That player is 76ers center Boban Marjanovic! He hasn't been named the starter as of yet so we are projecting him to play 8 minutes and score 12.39. In this matchup we are projecting him to score 1.55 fantasy points a minute, so if we get Boban at 24 to 28 minutes, we could see him score 35+ and be one of the best values on the slate. One thing that I love is that FanDuel rose his price because we got the news because of Embiid being out early. People will not want to pay $6,800 for a player who will play a max of 28 minutes. Boban will be in most of my lineups if he gets the start, but if the 76ers decide to start someone else I will lock Boban into all my lineups. I prefer him to come off the bench because he will come at even lower ownership and his usage will see a nice bump because the second unit offense will run through him. If Boban gets the start, he is a solid cash game play but with his upside he has the ability to win you a large field tournament.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are hosting the Golden State Warriors in a game that doesn't currently have an over/under because we are waiting on some injury news, but we do have a 5.5 point spread. Golden State sat Demarcus Cousins on Monday due to an injury ankle injury, and I expect him to be held out again on Tuesday. I wouldn't be surprised if the Warriors elected to rest another star because they are on the second night of a back to back. The Warriors resting players helps the Timberwolves keep this game close and because of this I love the Timberwolves point guard Tyus Jones. Jeff Teague has already been ruled out and Derrick Rose is listed as doubtful, so Jones should get the start again on Tuesday. This game will be played at an extremely high pace and if we get Jones at 30 minutes, we could see him score 35+ fantasy points. That would be enough to 7x his $4,700 price tag, which would make him one of the top value plays on the slate!

Game stack game stack game stack! I believe that is the way to win today. All of these games have fantasy appeal so there isn't a wrong to build your lineups. What games will you be stacking? Let's win big together!
