This week has treated us extremely well! We've made it to the weekend and let's finish this week off with a bang! Many people have transitioned over to baseball and are putting basketball on the back burner, so winning some of the bigger tournaments will be easier for the rest of the regular season. Let's take advantage of this! There are 9 games on Saturday, but I will only be talking about the 6 game main slate. Keep an eye on the injury news and make sure you can edit your lineups before lock.

Boban Alert! Boban Alert! Boban Alert! The 76ers will be resting center Joel Embiid on Saturday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, so my favorite play on the slate is Boban Marjanovic! He will be highly owned, but this is a situation that we want to eat the chalk and play him. I am hoping that people are scared off of Boban because of his tough matchup as the Timberwolves rank 5th vs the center position. Boban's DVP matchup does not scare me at all. He normally would be in 100 percent of my lineups, but he may get into foul trouble against Karl Anthony-Towns in the post so that may limit my ownership of him to a whopping 90 percent. Boban is a phenomenal cash game play because of his high floor, but he has the upside to win you a large field tournament. Make sure you get plenty of exposure to him!

Some of the top value plays on the slate are in Toronto Raptors vs the Chicago Bulls game because there is a ton of injury news in this game. The biggest injury news in the game is with Toronto Raptors small forward Kawhi Leonard, who will be held out of Saturday's game due to a personal reason. This opens up a lot of usage as Leonard's usage rate this season is a massive 33 percent. Most people will roster Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry, who is a great play, but my favorite point per dollar play on the Raptors is point guard Fred VanVleet. He has been getting the starts in Leonard's place and has had some big games. VanVleet started his last game and scored 36.6 fantasy points. If he gets the start, I expect him to do this again. In their last game, the Raptors blew out the New York Knicks and he played 32 minutes so his minutes are secure no matter the game flow. He has an awesome matchup against the Bulls who rank 21st vs the point guard positon. FanDuel rose his price to $5,500 which may scare people off of him, but he can score us 35+ fantasy points and be one of the top value plays on the slate!

I like a lot of the value plays in the Raptors vs Bulls game, so I will be stacking this game. The main reason I will stack this game is because it will come at lower ownership due to the blowout risk, as this game has a 10.5 point spread. With Leonard out, Pascal Siakam actually sees the highest increase in usage and fantasy points per minute. That is why he is one of my favorite plays. Again, most people will roster Kyle Lowry thinking he will crush his value, and he is safe in your cash game lineups, but I will pivot to Siakam because of his extremely high ceiling and he will come at lower ownership. He showed us his ceiling in his last game as he scored 50.5 fantasy points in 32 minutes. He has a terrific matchup as the Bulls rank 26th against the power forward position, but that doesn't even tell us the whole story. The Bulls are dealing with many injuries so they are worse than their number indicates. Siakam is one of my favorite GPP plays because of his incredible ceiling. If he plays his normal 32 to 35 minutes, he could end up scoring 45+ and be a huge contributor to your tournament winning lineup!

Zach Lavine, SG, Chicago Bulls

As I said, my favorite game to stack is the Raptors vs Bulls game. I gave you two Raptors so now I need to run it back with some Bulls players. My favorite Bulls player is shooting guard Zach Lavine. He is currently doubtful for the game, but if he plays, he will shoot 20+ times and his upside is incredibly high in this game. This season Lavine is averaging 36.7 fantasy points a game, so if he was to reach his floor, at minimum would 5X his price. The Bulls will be without 3 of their top 4 players so Lavine's usage rate will be through the roof. His ownership will be lower because he has a tough matchup against the Raptors as they rank 9th vs the shooting guard positon. In this unique lineup with all the injures the Bulls are dealing with, he could be given all of the minutes he can handle and he can end up scoring 50+ fantasy points and crush his value. Keep an eye on his injury news. If he is in the lineup and sees his normal run of minutes, we should definitely have exposure to him.

The Heat are in a tight race for the 8th seed in the East and just like the Bulls they also are dealing with many injuries. On Thursday both Justise Winslow and Josh Richardson were out so point guard Goran Dragic was a no brainer. All he did was record a triple double and score 56.9 fantasy points. Winslow and Richardson are out on Saturday and I expect more of the same out of Dragic. He has a good matchup as the Heat will be visiting the New York Knicks who 18th vs the point guard position. We are projecting him to play 32 minutes and score 33.94 fantasy points. This game currently has a 7 point spread but if the Knicks can keep this game close, Dragic could be one of the top plays on the slate. He is a great play on both sites but an even better play on FanDuel, as we have the rare case where a player is cheaper on FanDuel and DraftKings. At his $5,300 price tag he is a must play in cash games, but he also is a great GPP play, as he has shown us his 50+ fantasy point upside.

We want to have plenty of exposure to the Philadelphia 76ers vs the Minnesota Timberwolves game as it has a massive 228.5 game total. Boban is my favorite play in that game but make sure you differentiate your lineups as this game will have plenty of ownership. I gave you some of my favorite value plays today so you can fit in one of two of the higher price studs. Who will you be paying up for? Let's win big…together!
