Projections show DraftKings fantasy points.

Vegas Notes

- Spurs-Bucks is the only game with blowout potential tonight. Spurs are 10.5 point favorites.

- OKC-SAC is the highest total of the night, and the top game to get exposure to. OKC is favored by just eight, which could be ticked down with no Durant.

- Warriors-Hornets, 76ers-Wolves, and Nets-Celtics are three other games to target for offense. All three games have totals over 203.

- Milwaukee, Portland, Toronto, and Indiana all have team totals below 96. Milwaukee is the only team I would stay away from out of these.

Kings

Kevin Durant is out tonight, so fire up Russell Westbrook, as you already should have been doing. Westbrook triple-doubled against Sacramento once this season, posting a 57 DK point game. Westbrook has averaged 27-9-6 in the last five games, with 3.6 steals per game. In 59 games without Kevin Durant, Westbrook has had a 38.9% usage rate, averaging 28-7-8. The Kings have allowed the third most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards, and I can't see a reason to fade Westbrook tonight, even in tournaments.

Celtics

Salary: FD: $8,700 DK: $7,500

Because Brooklyn has been so bad, only us DFS players have realized how good Brook Lopez has been. He is averaging 20 and 8 on the season, with 2.8 blocks+steals per game, adding to the ceiling he brings. Lopez is coming off of a dominant game against Boston, which will attract some ownership, but Lopez is one of the higher floor centers on the board. He is averaging 25 and 12 in the last five games, with 3.8 blocks+steals per game. Boston has allowed the 8th most fantasy points per game to opposing centers in the last ten. Boston is also a subpar rebounding team, ranking 18th in rebound differential.

@Nets

310.8924.119.342.210427.5

Salary: FD: SF $5,400 DK: SG $5,100

With Avery Bradley on the shelf for tonight's game, Evan Turner will see a bit of an increase in minutes. Turner takes on more of a point guard role when on the floor, as the offense flows through him. He is averaging 16-4-5 in the last five games, averaging 29 minutes per game. Turner played 37 minutes last game, but should be around 30 tonight. He is shooting 52% from the field in the last five, and Brooklyn has allowed the second highest FG% to opposing SG. Turner should spend time at the PG and SG spots tonight, and Brooklyn defends neither well.

@76ers

351.0724.318.148.310437.4

Salary: FD: $7,700 DK: $7,100

I love Ricky Rubio's price on DraftKings tonight, and he gets a great matchup with Philly. They have allowed the 3rd most fantasy points per game to opposing PG in the last ten games. Minnesota has a juicy 104 team total tonight, and are great complimentary pieces to Westbrook, without going overboard on salary. Rubio is averaging 11-11-4, with 3.4 steals per game in the last five. Rubio carries a fairly safe floor, but does have triple-double upside in this matchup. He has 40+ fantasy points in three of the last five games.

Hornets

341.2023.119.94810840.8

Salary: FD: $9,700 DK: $9,900

Draymond Green is coming off of one of the greatest lines in DFS history. If Steph Curry sits, he will likely end the night with another monster line. Charlotte has struggled against power forwards this season, ranking 20th in rebound differential, and allowing the 9th most fantasy points per game. Green is shooting 46% from the field, and 56% from three in the last five games. We will likely not know if Curry is going to play until after lineup lock time, but regardless, Green does not leave you hanging.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (SG), Pistons

Projection

Magic

360.6717.017.438.510024.1

Salary: FD: $5,800 DK: $5,300

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is going to be overlooked tonight, due to Rodney Hood, and Monta Ellis being around the same price range. Ellis more so if George Hill sits. Caldwell-Pope eats minutes for breakfast, averaging 37 this season, and 38 in the last four games. The shot is not always on, and often is off more so than on. He is coming off back-to-back 30+ fantasy point games, but had a 21 and 13 fantasy point games the two before. Orlando has allowed the 13th most fantasy points per game to opposing SG, so not a tough matchup by any means. KCP is a nice pivot from Hood, who will be the popular value SG tonight.
