Among the honorable mention quarterbacks are Tom Brady, Colin Kaepernick, and Kirk Cousins. Don't forget about Cam Newton and Drew Brees in a potential shootout on Thursday night either. Even though Brees had the better performance in their first meeting, I'm siding with Cam Newton at home this time around. As for the other mentioned quarterbacks in the main slate, I'm labeling them all GPP Picks. Brady and Cousins have some cash game appeal, but there are better options at their price levels ... Enough about guys not listed in the "meat and potatoes" of the article. Below we are taking a look at two cash game quarterbacks, two GPP quarterbacks, and a value. Opposing defenses, game theory, prices, and individual quarterback numbers are taken into account.

Marcus Mariota, Tennessee Titans

Mariota is one of the top quarterbacks of this slate, yet his salary rests at an economical $8000. That cements his status as top-flight QB1 to target in all formats. The matchup certainly helps his cause as well, finding himself in a high-scoring game against the pass-happy Colts. Indianapolis ranks 29th against the pass this season, and Mariota has been on fire in recent weeks. There's some concern that DeMarco Murray will take production away from Mariota in Tennessee's offense. However, I believe there's enough room for both of them to post solid stat-lines, much like last week.
