Week in and week out we are diving into the best value plays at various positions. Each week always plays out differently, especially when deciding what areas to spend down on, and where to spend up. While many articles point out the top values, we hope to guide you in lineup construction as well. Pricing on FanDuel generally ties into fantasy point outcome, where on DraftKings, matchups and ownership are baked into the algorithm a little more. Injuries, seasonal changes, and matchups all create value, and here at DFC we break that down for you. Our content is focused on the Main Slates, but you can find me answering questions in the comments, or on Twitter at @JGuilbault11. Premium access grants full list of value plays.

Value quarterbacks are gross this week, as you may have noticed just glancing at the player pool this week. Jay Cutler and Blake Bortles standout as guys in the best spots, yet do we really want to play Cutler and Bortles? Probably not, but they do open up a lot of value and I feel obligated to drop down in this tier for one of them. Cutler is the one I am looking at, mainly because he has better weapons and is playing at home. Cutler has thrown quite often over the last two weeks (42 and 37), which may have been the result of the Jay Ajayi trade, although game script was positive. The Bucs defense is one to target, allowing the 8th most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season, and rank 31st in DVOA against the pass. While I recommend using a more expensive quarterback in cash games, value quarterbacks in tournaments are worth a shot.
