NBA Lineups Breakdown/Review 1/6/16

good morning... Here are my two lineups for DK GPP... Norris Cole is pending whether Tyreke starts. What's your take?

@nastypat I personally like Cole either way. He is playing decent minutes regardless. I am a little weary of Matthews tonight due to the overtime game last night. Shabazz is a bit of a risk as I am not sure you can count on his minutes but that is perfect for GPPs.

I'm looking at Eric Gordon in place of Matthews but I'm concerned about his upside for GPP's. Dallas is middle of the road against 2 guards but they also played in OT. I'm leaning towards keeping Wesley in though.

Here is my lineup for a fd GPP, thoughts? Also can this lineup hold up in cash games, or too risky?

Then thinking this lineup for possible cash games?

@nastypat it is a huge slate and value will open up throughtout the day.

@userghost none of those lineups are safe for cash games. In cash games you want players who are consitent with not only their play bur minutes as well. Players like Diaw, Payne, Gordon, Nurkic don't meet that criteria at all. In the first lineup if you remove Diaw it has the makings of a solid GPP lineup

edited that former lineup taking out the players that you suggested. My question about diaw is, since the spurs are favored by 15 points shouldn't he remain in the game longer?

@meatballs both lineups are solid they have guys who are consistent. I am in the minority but I love Ellington ton7ght especially if Johnson is out. I have not seen any news on him yet but I may have missed it.

@illkid you have some games I would not be targeting do to the low point totals. The Nets and Knicks are not really teams that I would be a targeting heavily. I also would not touch Hood against the top ranked Spurs defense in a game that has blowout potential.

@userghost there is a lot of value at small forward tonight. I would look to upgrade Leonard. As far as Diaw the Spurs may blowout the Jazz but that wont really affect Diaw as he will still play inutes in the low 20s regardless. Also remember the Jazz are the second ranked defense in the NBA and that game is not going to be high scoring.

Took out Lebron at SF and put in Bojan Bogdonovic which allowed me enough cash to put in andre drummond instead of leonard

if joe johnson plays do I still keep my lineup? And would you say I have a better shot at cash or gpp with it?

Line up for turbo games at 8:00 draft kings? whats your opinion on this line up?

@UserGhost - It is more suited for GPP's, and Ellington should see 25 minutes or so either way. Leonard, Booker, and Ellington have lower floors than I want for cash games.

@Hendrix - If Evans sits, I like Cole. Better points-per-dollar play, and gives you some extra cash. Lin is a nice value play as well though.

@UNC85 - I like it, I would just swap Nurkic for Wes Matthews in the utility spot. Safer floor.

@UNC85 - Never mind on Matthews, he was just reported as out. Zaza Pachulia and Dirk are as well, so I actually like dropping Withey down to Javale McGee and going with Faried or Deron at UTIL.

Dallas News - Williams, Dirk, Matthews, and Pachulia are listed as OUT tonight.

J.J. Barea, Raymond Felton, and Javale McGee all get bumped up now.

Chandler Parsons still listed as questionable.
