So i am new to this site alot of very useful information. i have been doing my research like i do every week. I usually win my money by playing 1 pm only leagues or primetime games only etc. My question is defense im drafting for my 1 pm only league im leaning heavily on the colts solely on the fact the Jax. has played so bad. but the more i look into it im now in a toss up between buffalo, ATL, and Indy. any input would be appreciated

Question

If you are playing the 1pm only slate I would probably lean towards the Panthers. They are favored to win in a game that has the lowest total on the board at 39.5. Also may want to look at Redskins/Eagles game if it is played it will be in horrible weather that could lead to some sloppy play.

Nate, I'm looking at Indy or Philly early. Panthers were a preferred play for me, but that is 100% contingent on Kuechly returning. Also saw Josh Norman is sitting out practice today, not sure why. Certainly a situation to monitor. If both guys play, I'm with Zach and will be looking at Carolina a lot.

Carolina for me as well, and I do like the mention of the hurricane. If that is the case, I like the Eagles as well. Atlanta burned me in early only contests last week.

I hate to says this as an ardent bears fan but my sleeper is the raiders. The O line in Chicago is attrocious and Clausen doesn't inspire much confidence from me.

Good call on the weather in the PHI/WAS game, that certainly warrants paying attention to. The suggestion of the Raiders is a solid one, namely in GPPs, and especially if Alshon Jeffery is out (as it seems like he will be). Perhaps I'm being a homer, but I think from a ceiling stand point, I like the Bills the best. They're 5.5 point favorites at last check, and if the Giants get down early and it becomes predictable passing downs, that push rush is capable of racking up sacks and generating turnovers in a hurry.

I like Philly. Cousins + a sloppy wet game should = turn over goodness. Unless the Skins lean on Morris or the game gets moved to Mo-town. If any of those happen I like the Bills.

@joshshep50 I looked at the bills but Eli scares the shit out of me he always plays better on the road and as bad as the giants defense has been I feel like it could turn into a shootout.

Eli is certainly capable of turning it into a shootout, but I love the ability of the Bills to get sacks and force turnovers, so they are capable of posting a useful fantasy total even if Eli does hang some points on them.
