Quarterback
QB | Opp | Ownership % | DK Salary | FD Salary |
Philip Rivers | @ Ravens | 11.4 | $6,600 | $8,500 |
Andy Dalton | @ Steelers | 9.3 | $6,000 | $8,100 |
Cam Newton | Colts | 9.3 | $6,800 | $8,000 |
Carson Palmer | @ Browns | 7.1 | $7,000 | $8,100 |
Matt Ryan | Buccaneers | 4.5 | $7,100 | $8,000 |
Eli Manning | @ Saints | 4.1 | $6,600 | $7,300 |
Drew Brees | Giants | 2.5 | $6,700 | $7,900 |
Aaron Rodgers | @ Broncos | 2.1 | $7,500 | $9,000 |
Ben Roethlisberger | Bengals | 1.8 | $6,700 | $8,200 |
Joe Flacco | Chargers | 1.6 | $5,500 | $7,400 |
Philip Rivers leading the way in ownership is not surprising, and I'd expect him to soak up some of Brady's ownership. Even with that likely being the case, he's an elite play in cash games and GPPs alike. Andy Dalton is another elite play in all game types, and given his salary on DraftKings, I'd expect his ownership to be higher there. After seeing the GPP ownership rates, Ben Roethliberger's stock is up, and ditto for Eli Manning. Carson Palmer's ownership rate is reasonable, though, the Browns are incredibly giving on the ground, so I'm not in love with using him. Matt Ryan comes with some risk given the spread, but his ownership reflects that, and at under 5% ownership, I'm higher on him in GPPs than I was entering the evening.

Notable Ownership from Thursday Night Football game: Lamar Miller - 11.3%
Hi, Todd Gurley, I see you atop the ownership rates. I love him again this week, and even if his ownership rate approaches 50% on DraftKings, he's a player I have zero intention of fading in any game type. Devonta Freeman's ownership rate checking in under 20% is fantastic, as I love him in GPPs thanks to the spread and likely game flow, and his ownership rate enhances my love of using him in GPPs this week. Chris Johnson's ownership rate should shoot through the roof on DraftKings, where his salary is even more cap friendly. I liked Doug Martin more before seeing his ownership rate north of 10%. With the Buccaneers sizable dogs, I want more edge to roll the dice on a guy who could end up crippled by game flow. The matchup is perfect for Martin, so I get it, but there are tons of options who have big upside and less risk. One of those players is Ronnie Hillman. The Broncos are home dogs, and the Packers are giving up rushing yardage in big chunks. Hillman's rushed for over 100 yards in two of his last three games, and if the Broncos are wise, they'll lean on their defense and running game. I'm loving his ownership rate, and his stock is waaaaay up for me. Marshawn Lynch's ownership rate is yet another pleasant surprise, as game flow and the recent direction the Seahawks offense has headed lead me to believe he's grossly under owned. Jonathan Stewart's lower salary on DraftKings should assure him of an ownership rate possibly twice as high as it is on FanDuel, and the fact a flex position exists on DraftKings should make that a near certainty. That said, I still love him on DraftKings.

Notable ownership from Thursday Night Football game: Julian Edelman - 17.4%, Jarvis Landry - 12.8%
Wow, no one is sleeping on Stefon Diggs. That said, I wasn't expecting anyone to sleep on him as The YAC illustrates. He's been phenomenal, and he provides cap relief without sacrificing top-shelf talent. I shudder to think about his ownership rate will be at DraftKings, but I'll guess he sits in the 40-50% range. With Antonio Gates' playing status in question, and odds being he'll sit, Keenan Allen is a great play who's not slipping through the cracks against the uber-giving Ravens pass defense. I'm downright astonished to see Martavis Bryant's ownership rate exceed that of teammate Antonio Brown. Brown is my favorite option at receiver this week. Sporting a lower ownership rate than the men in black and yellow is the star receiver opposing them, A.J. Green. I will own a ton of shares of Brown and Green together, as the spread and over/under total suggest the game should be a shootout, and that benefits the pass catchers. I'm thrilled to see Nate Washington's outburst last week didn't result in a lemming ownership boost north of 10%. He's another awesome source of cap relief, and he'll be a staple in a number of my GPP rosters. Gamers don't seem phased by John Brown's lingering injury, but I am, and I'm loving the ownership rate of Michael Floyd. Finally, at the minimum salary on DraftKings, Tyler Lockett is an intriguing single bullet or pair of bullets in GPPs, in my opinion.
Tight End
TE | Opp | Ownership % | DK Salary | FD Salary |
Tyler Eifert | @ Steelers | 19.1 | $5,300 | $6,000 |
Greg Olsen | Colts | 12.8 | $6,500 | $6,400 |
Ladarius Green | @ Ravens | 8.4 | $3,000 | $5,300 |
Martellus Bennett | Vikings | 6.2 | $4,900 | $5,700 |
Gary Barnidge | Cardinals | 4.8 | $4,700 | $6,300 |
Ben Watson | Giants | 4.4 | $3,500 | $5,400 |
Delanie Walker | @ Texans | 3.3 | $4,100 | $5,400 |
Jason Witten | Seahawks | 3.2 | $5,200 | $5,500 |
Jimmy Graham | @ Cowboys | 1.8 | $5,100 | $6,100 |
Jeff Cumberland | @ Raiders | 0.1 | $2,500 | $4,600 |
Notable player ownership Thursday Night Football game: Rob Gronkowski - 11.9%
Tyler Eifert deserves to be the highest owned tight end this week, and I'm completely in love with his GPP upside. I'd venture to guess his ownership will be closer to 25% over the weekend with no Gronk. Greg Olsen is a fantastic pivot off of Eifert. The lack of pass catching options in the Panthers offense has been Olsen's gain this year. Ben Watson has a soft matchup with the Giants, and his emergence in the passing game makes him a fine play at his ownership rate and salary. Finally, if you're punting TE on DraftKings, Jeff Cumberland is the tight end to own on the Jets. He's not much of a pass catching threat, but he's reeled in some touchdown grabs in previous years.Defense

Oh boy, look at the Rams' ownership rate. Yes, I still love them this week. That said, the Packers' ownership rate is a farce against noodle-armed Peyton Manning. Stock up for the Packers in GPPs.
