Stacking Thursday games?

Im pretty happy I stayed away from last nights game for the most part. I have 1 GPP line-up with Bell (31 points).

I did a cheap GPP as a desperation play with Vick (12.26), Brown (9.2), and S Smith Sr (6.4). Overall, very happy I didnt over invest in Thursday nights games. I did enter quite a few Thursday double ups/ GPP because I thought people may bite on the Thursday lineup giving me an advantage.

Leads me to ask though, every Thursday I see a crap ton of people at the top of the points board with 5,6,7 people all from the same game. Is this a strategy I am not aware of? Other then seeing your name winning a million dollars until Sunday, what is the strategy behind this? Ive only seen it work relatively well once and that was the Broncos games where Peyton, Emmanuel, Demaryius and the Broncos defense all had over 20 points.

A lot of those are the sharks remember you have people throwing out the max lineups in theses tournaments and so you will see all types of crazy combinations. To them it is just another series of potential outcomes. I wouldn't sweat it

There is not strategy to be honest. People feel the need to play players from the Thursday game and do not actually look at the match ups. Thursday night games tend to be sloppy with teams coming off a short week.

Do you believe most of the time you should fade thursday games?

Really depends on the game but in my experience yes most of the time I would fade the game.

Nine times out of ten I fade the Thursday game. The total is always low, and we get crap games, just like last night.

However, this slate would of been one to just add Bell into those lineups and focus the rest of your players for Sunday/Monday. (Like you did)

I think that is one possible strategy to use, because there is usually one safe fantasy player between the two teams.

I never understand why they stack the Thursday game, other than to take a screenshot of them at the top before they fall lol
