Along with that, we'll be gauging the ownership levels, giving you some plausible pivots from the popular choices in a given game slate.

McCarthy is one of my favorite "per dollar" picks for the evening slate. He's a slight favorite in the low run scoring environment of Petco Park. I wouldn't read into his low career strikeout rate of 17%, as he has totaled 25 strikeouts in just 18 innings pitched this season.
