Each day of the MLB season will bring us some major price differences among starting pitchers on all sites. These price discrepancies and the site's roster differences can alter the way we use pitchers on each site, as well as how the field of opponents will use them. Listed below are five of today's top pitchers, each with their salary listed as well as the cafe value that takes into account both the total salary cap on the site and points-per-dollar. We've also provided some betting info for you reference. The higher the cafe value, the better the points-per-dollar play is.

Zack Greinke

Tonight's slate of pitching options is rather poor, and while the names are above average, the peripherals/matchups don't jump off the page for me. This is definitely a slate to write out a pros/cons list for each name, and then pick away. So that's what I will be doing. Starting with Zack Greinke, he has been excellent this season. While the stuff he has is dropping in velocity, things have still worked out. He has also had an average of a 14% swinging strike rate in three meetings with Colorado this season. Two of them in Coors. Chase Field isn't a huge drop off in terms of Coors, so I am not citing park factors much when talking about Colorado being on the road. Against right-handers this season, they rank 16th in wOBA and have a 22.1% strikeout rate. Colorado's production away from home drops, averaging less than four and a half runs per game. Greinke has a 13.6% SwStr% this season, which has translated into a 28.4% strikeout rate. Greinke's 5.4% walk rate is also one of the reasons I have him ranked slightly over Rich Hill and Gio Gonzalez. Him being at home helps as well. Greinke is playable in all formats.
