Rockets @ Wizards

HOU

Injured: Patrick Beverley (Out), Donata Motiejunas (Out), Terrence Jones (Out)

Beneficiaries: SG Jason Terry (DK: $3,800, FD: $3,700), SF(DK)/PF(FD) Josh Smith (DK: $6,500, FD: $5,700)

Jason Terry will continue to start with Patrick Beverley out. James Harden's ball dominance will prevent Terry from being a distributor, and he won't be relied upon heavily for scoring. That said, he's an efficient three point shooter who can occasionally chip in some dimes. He played 28 minutes in his start Friday and scored 17 points with 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 made threes. The numbers look juicy, but he only took 7 shots and needed to make 6 in order to reach his point total. Terry is cheap, but his ceiling is limited and his floor is low.

Josh Smith is the name to be interested in as a result of injuries to Rockets starters. He's now the starter at power forward due to a rash of injuries to the big men on the Rockets. Smith should see 35 minutes or so as a starter, and he can really fill up the box score. His price hasn't caught up to his new role, and he's strong play at both DK and FD. In fact, he's a downright steal at FD.

BK

Injured: Thaddeus Young (Out), Deron Williams (Questionable)

Beneficiaries: PG Jarrett Jack (DK: $4,600, FD: $5,400), C Mason Plumlee (DK: $3,800, FD: $4,100)

Deron Williams missed Saturday's practice due to illness, and his playing status is in question. Jarrett Jack would get a monstrous boost in value as a starter. With Williams out this year, Jack's usage rate is a whopping 25.0%, per NBAwowy. He's been good for 0.93 fantasy points per minute at DK and 0.88 at FD in that situation, and with the expectation of over 30 minutes he'd easily be worth his cost for usage if Williams is sick enough to miss the game.

Mason Plumlee started next to Brook Lopez with Thaddeus Young out Friday. He totaled 2 points with 8 rebounds and 1 block in just 24 minutes. Plumlee will need to do better than that to provide a positive return on a minimal investment to use him, and he's capable of that. The Lakers bigs aren't the most formidable test, and Plumlee is a decent gamble with a modest scoring ceiling as a result.

Timberwolves @ Pelicans

MIN

Injured: Gary Neal (Out), Nikola Pekovic (Out), Ricky Rubio (Doubtful), Kevin Garnett (Doubtful), Anthony Bennett (Questionable), Robbie Hummel (Questionable), Kevin Martin (Questionable)

Beneficiaries: PG Lorenzo Brown (DK: $3,600, FD: $4,100), PG Zach LaVine (DK: $5,600, FD: $5,200), SF Andrew Wiggins (DK: $6,800, FD: $6,800), SF Chase Budinger (DK: $4,900, FD: $5,000), PF Adreian Payne (DK: $3,900, FD: $4,200), C Gorgui Dieng (DK: $6,700, FD: $6,700)

The number of injured Timberwolves might outnumber the healthy ones. The most exciting daily basketball options in the mix of beneficiaries is Zach LaVine, Andrew Wiggins -- if Kevin Martin is out -- and Gorgui Dieng.

LaVine remains inconsistent. However, he's scored in double figures in five straight games. In that time frame he's averaging 40.8 minutes, 2 threes, 4.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 17.4 points and 4.8 turnovers. He's a steal on FD and a bargain on DK, albeit one who is capable of laying an egg.

Dieng has played well as a starter, but his last five games point to the sometimes up and down nature of his game. In those games he's averaged 40.0 minutes, 7.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.4 steals, 2.6 blocks and 14.8 points. His hustle stats have helped him avoid being a total dud when he's failed to score or rebound at a high rate. He has a tough matchup with Anthony Davis, so I'll probably be fading him.

The guy to get most excited about is Wiggins. He's demonstrating why he was the top pick in the draft and the best rookie. He has scored 20 or more points in four of his last five games, and in that time span he has averaged 44.0 minutes, 5.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.8 blocks and 22.6 points per game. As long as Martin is sidelined, I like Wiggins at both DK and FD.

DET

Injured: Greg Monroe (Out)

Beneficiary: PF Anthony Tolliver (DK: $4,000, FD: $4,600)

Anthony Tolliver has started with Greg Monroe out, but that doesn't make him a strong daily game option. He hasn't scored more than 20 fantasy points at FD since St. Patrick's Day, and he squeaked out a 20.5 fantasy point effort at DK Friday snapping his sub-20 point stretch there that also dated back to March 17. Pass on Tolliver in daily games.

MIA

Injured: Shabazz Napier (Doubtful), Dwyane Wade (Questionable), Chris Andersen (Questionable), Hassan Whiteside (Questionable).

Beneficiaries: PG Goran Dragic (DK: $6,800, FD: $6,700), PF Udonis Haslem (DK: $3,500, FD: $4,200), PG Mario Chalmers (DK: $4,100, FD: $4,500)

Tyler Johnson and Henry Walker would see an uptick in value with Shabazz Napier and Dwyane Wade out, but neither will get consideration from me for daily games. Mario Chalmers has seen his usage rate go from 19.3% with Wade in the lineup to 21.8% with him out, and he creeps into the bargain option territory if Wade is out.

Goran Dragic is the big ticket player to get excited about if the Heat's top dog is out. With Wade in the lineup, Dragic has a 22.0% usage rate. With Wade out, Dragic has a 28.9% usage rate. Get him on your rosters if he is without his usual starting backcourt mate. Udonis Haslem is an unexciting punt play if Chris Andersen and Hassan Whiteside are both out.

Grizzlies @ Spurs, Mavericks @ Pacers

MEM

Injured: Tony Allen (Questionable)

Beneficiary: SF Jeff Green (DK: $5,600, FD: $5,000)

If Tony Allen's hamstring injury prevents him from playing, Jeff Green should see some extra burn. Allen isn't a large part of the offense as the club's lockdown defender on the wing, so even with extended run, it's hard to envision Green being a great play since his value is tied to volume offense. At $5,000, though, Green will have some appeal filling one of two small forward slots in FD games.

DAL

Injured: Monta Ellis (Doubtful), J.J. Barea (Questionable)

Beneficiary: PG Devin Harris (DK: $3,200, FD: $3,800), SF Chandler Parsons (DK: $6,200, FD: $6,300), PF Dirk Nowitzki (DK: $5,900, FD: $6,000)

Monta Ellis' injury -- and to a lesser extent J.J. Barea's -- to more run for Devin Harris, even if he isn't shifted into the starting lineup to play next to Rajon Rondo. Since Ellis has played in every game this year, projecting anyone's exact boost in value is an inexact science. Still, Harris looks like a steal at both DK and FD we added run and will be one of my favorite cheap plays in today's games.

Ellis is the primary scorer for the Mavericks and has a usage rate of 28,1% this season. I'd expect Chandler Parsons and Dirk Nowitzki to be saddled with picking up the scoring slack. I like both more as a result, but Parsons is the one of the duo I prefer to use since there are some other solid value plays at power forward.

IND

Injured: Rodney Stuckey (Questionable)

Beneficiaries: PG George Hill (DK: $7,300, FD: $7,500), PG C.J. Watson (DK: $4,200, FD: $4,600), SF C.J. Miles (DK: $5,000, FD: $4,300)

George Hill has been on fire of late, and if Rodney Stuckey is out, I'll be rostering the former Spur heavily. In his last five games he's averaged 35.6 minutes, 2.4 threes, 4.2 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.8 blocks and 23.0 points per game. That's staggering, across the board production befitting a higher price that tied to Hill.

C.J. Watson has also been excellent. He's played 30 or more minutes in two of the last three games scoring 23 points in each of those games. In his last three games he's totaled 57 points scored with 7 threes, 11 rebounds, 14 assists and 7 steals. Watson carries a bit more risk than Hill, but even his low water mark in the last three games would make him a good play in daily games. C.J. Miles' production is anyone's guess since he's an erratic three point shooter who likes to huck it. You're better off asking an 8-ball for his outlook than me. I've yet to roster him on one of his good shooting nights. I'll be sure to tweet out whether I'm using him or not, and I'd advise doing the opposite based on the bad luck I seem to bring him.

OKC @ Suns

OKC

Injured: Serge Ibaka (Out)

Beneficiaries: C Enes Kanter (DK: $7,500, FD: $7,100), C Steven Adams (DK: $5,800, FD: $5,400)

Enes Kanter and Steven Adams have been a formidable and big frontcourt duo with Serge Ibaka hurt. Pricing is catching up to their production on DK, but they remain a bit under priced on FD. Even with their prices creeping up on DK, they haven't been priced out of usable status yet.

PHO

Injured: Brandon Knight (Questionable), Marcus Thornton (Questionable)

Beneficiary: PF Marcus Morris (DK: $6,000, FD: $5,800)

Without Brandon Knight in the lineup, head coach Jeff Hornacek has opted to go with a big lineup with Marcus Morris starting. As long as Knight remains sidelined and Marcus Morris' price tag fails to adjust to his stunning output (23.6 fantasy points or more at FD in eight straight games and 24.25 fantasy points or more at DK in that time frame). He's been a stud, and no reason to jump ship now -- as long as Knight is out.
