Vegas Notes

- Warriors-Thunder has a 221 total tonight... It is by far the best game for offense tonight, but it is a pricey game to target.

- Detroit-Cleveland, Charlotte-Portland, Phoenix-New York, and Boston Orlando all have totals over 200. Lakers-Clippers likely will as well, when odds are released.

- Depending on what the Clippers spread is, no true blowout concerns out yet.

With a 114 total, Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant are both in great spots tonight. While Durant is not listed, he is the top small forward play tonight. Houston has allowed the 11th most fantasy points per game, and nobody has a higher fantasy points point per minute than Westbrook on the slate. He is averaging 23-11-8 in the last six games, also notching 2.3 steals per game. Neither of these teams have been playing great defense of late, and the pace of this game is going to create plenty of fantasy points from both sides. On FanDuel it is easier to grab James Harden and/or Durant alongside him, while on DK you will need some very deep punt plays to do so. Heading to this game first is how you start your lineups tonight.

Yes, James Harden is your top option if you are paying up at shooting guard tonight. I still don't mind him tonight, but am a little less intrigued with Dwight Howard back in the lineup. I will head down a little cheaper with C.J. McCollum. He is averaging 23-3-2 in the last three games, shooting 51% from the field. I love this game after OKC-HOU, and Vegas does as well. Charlotte is allowing the 10th highest FG% from three, and the 16th highest FG% overall. Charlotte is allowing the 9th most fantasy points per game in the last ten games, putting McCollum in a great spot tonight.

Once again, love Kevin Durant tonight, but that trio are obvious plays, and speak for themselves. Chandler Parsons has been in a zone lately, averaging 23-2-6 in the last six games, shooting 56% from the field. He is shooting 61% from three in that span, and still sits in that mid-tier price range. I love Parsons for cash games tonight if you are skipping Durant, because there are some decent SF options tonight. Brooklyn is allowing the 5th highest FG% to opposing SF this season, and are in the bottom half for fantasy points allowed. Price considered, Parsons is one of my favorite plays tonight.

Power forward is rather weak tonight, but if you are looking for stability, Chris Bosh is your guy. He is averaging 22-2-5 in the last five games, shooting 53% from the field. Bosh has only fallen below 30 fantasy points twice in the last ten games, but does lack upside for tournaments. He is a fine cash game play tonight due to the lack of options. Milwaukee has allowed the 4th most fantasy points per game to opposing PF, so he also draws an elite matchup tonight. If Melo or Porzingis sit tonight, I will fire up Derrick Williams again, even after the dud last night.

Projection

@Celtics341.1326.825.753.39838.4

Salary: FD: $7,800 DK: $7,600

If you are looking to nab a higher priced center, Nikola Vucevic is your guy. It was a tough cut between him and DeAndre Jordan, so both are in play. Vuc is averaging 15-2-12, with 3.6 blocks+steals per game. The defensive numbers came as a bit of a surprise of late, but if he can regularly add that to his game, watch out. Boston ranks in the bottom half in rebound differential, and rank in the middle of the league in fantasy points allowed to opposing centers. Vuc has the third highest usage rate among centers tonight, and has played 37 minutes or more in the last four games.

Value Plays

Archie Goodwin (PG/SG - PHX) FD: $5,000 DK: $5,600

The Phoenix values are at our disposal yet again, starting with Archie Goodwin. His price is creeping up, but is still a great points-per-dollar play. He is averaging 18-3-3 in the last five games, and logs heavy minutes. New York has allowed the third most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards in the last ten games. If the Knicks injuries slip Langston Galloway into the starting lineup tonight, he is another top value option.

Justise Winslow (SF - MIA) FD: $4,200 DK: $4,500

Justise Winslow seems to have earned bigger minutes, even with everyone back healthy. He has averaged 35 minutes in the last four games, averaging 8-3-6 in that span. He has hovered between 22-28 fantasy points in the last four, which is solid for his price. If you are working in the top stars tonight, Winslow is not a bad option at your second SF spot.

Spencer Hawes (C - CHA) FD: $4,000 DK: $4,800

Spencer Hawes has been extremely productive in the right matchups since filling in for injuries. He is averaging 10-2-7 in the last five games, shooting 44% from three. He is coming off of a tough game, but playing Utah, he was expected to have one. He gets a great matchup tonight against Portland, who are allowing the 9th most fantasy points per game to opposing centers. He is definitely in play if you are paying up for HOU-OKC.

Love Ibaka as cheap exposure to the Rockets-Thunder game

I like him more GPP's, even though PF is weaker tonight.
