Vegas Notes

- Blowout Alert!! Warriors are favored by 17 points tonight against the Lakers. It is very possible starters do not even see the court in the fourth. For a guy like Curry, and his salary, I feel he is a risky play for cash, others not so much.

- Clippers are the next highest projected scoring team, and in a much closer game, with just a -7 spread.

- Hawks-Celtics will be the non western conference game to target for scoring, with a 204 total.

- Mavs and Lakers are the lowest projected scoring teams tonight.

Salary: FD: $9,400 DK: $9,000

Coming off of his best game of the season, Damian Lillard headlines my cash game option tonight. PG is odd, due to Chris Paul, Stephen Curry, and Lillard being in play, but they all have a negative about them. Paul has been wildly inconsistent, Lillard could see some Jimmy Butler, and Curry could be in a likely blowout. I will take my chances on Lillard seeing more Derrick Rose than Butler tonight, making him a top option for cash games. Chicago ranks 25th in fantasy points allowed to opposing point guards, and allows them to dish out the fourth most assists per game. Lillard's usage rate is among the top players in the league, and he lit up Chicago last season, averaging 28-7-5 in two games.

Salary: FD: $5,800 DK: $5,800

Will Barton is in the mix for safe cash game options, with Evan Turner, and Avery Bradley. They are both fine calls, but Barton headlines SG for me. Barton is shooting nearly 50% from the field this season, and 47% from three. His minutes have fluctuated at times, but Denver will need him to be on the court to keep up with Los Angeles. Look for him to be in the upper 20's for minutes tonight, and L.A. has been below average against shooting guards defensively. Clippers have allowed SG to shoot 43% from the field, and average 21 points per game.

@Wizards

351.0218.931.033.710135.7

Salary: FD: $9,500 DK: $9,900

Paul George is my favorite player on the slate tonight, going up against Washington, who has allowed the most fantasy points per game to small forwards. Opposing small forwards are shooting 47% against them, averaging 24 points per game. George has one of the safer floors in the NBA right now, and his price is now reflecting that. He is averaging 25-8-5 this season, with nearly two steals per game. He is just under $10,000, but I have no problem paying his price tag.

Salary: FD: $7,600 DK: $7,500

There are a handful of power forward options, with Blake Griffin, and Paul Millsap being the other two, but I need some sort of Warriors' exposure. Golden State has a 115 total tonight, and this is looking like a great spot for Draymond Green. He is a phenomenal peripheral producer, and is not scoring reliant. He is averaging 12-8-7 this season, and we have seen him near triple-doubles in limited minutes. For the price considered, you can save some cash at PF, and lean towards attacking the Lakers, one of the worst defenses in the league. If you do have the extra cash, Griffin is my choice if I am paying up.

Projection

@Nuggets

341.0819.713.044.910736.7

Salary: FD: $7,600 DK: $7,400

Denver has been picked on for opposing big men since the beginning of DFS. They are an average rebounding team, and rank 25th in defensive efficiency. DeAndre Jordan is averaging a double-double per game this season. (13/10) We know he has big time upside, especially when he can block shots. He is averaging 2.8 per game, and has seven in the last two games. Denver is allowing opposing centers to shoot 59% from the field, and we know Jordan is an efficient offense player, he just lacks attempts. Denver is allowing the sixth most blocks per game, making Jordan one of my favorite options at center.

Value Plays

Jeff Green (SF - MEM) FD: $4,500 DK: $4,500

My value picks will come from two teams, starting with Memphis. Jeff Green has continously seen 28+ minutes in the last few games, and has been solid outside of his matchup against Kawhi Leonard, which is understandable. Dallas is a middle of the road defense, and with Memphis lacking scoring, they have no choice to let Green put up some shots.

Darrell Arthur (PF - DEN) FD: $3,800 DK: $3,500

Kenneth Faried is doubtful tonight, and Darrell Arthur filled in last game, playing 34 minutes. He went 21 and 8, shooting 9 of 12 from the field. For bare-minimum, he is definitely in consideration tonight. L.A. is allowing the 9th most fantasy points to opposing power forwards in the last 10 games.

Nikola Jokic (C - DEN) FD: $4,300 DK: $4,000

Nikola Jokic's minutes have been matchup dependent. When other teams play big, he sees 25+ minutes, when they run small, he is in the teens. L.A. has plenty of size, and Denver will need Jokic to compete. When given the opportunity, Jokic has not disappointed. He had a 30 fantasy point game, and a 50 fantasy point game in two of the last three.

Mike Conley (PG - MEM) FD: $6,600 DK: $6,600

In price consideration for other point guards, Mike Conley is an excellent value play. Sure, he does not have the upside of Curry or Lillard, but he brings a stable floor for his price. Conley is averaging 15-3-6 this season, and has 2+ steals in the last four games.
